Terrible sales model. Just release the thing. I spent 8 months buying them.

I would even buy a set of clear to get the clear Megs - but I can't even see that option anywhere yet.

But I already bought the normal colour NBK - I don't mind if they offer it with the yellow gift set -just offer it already.

 

Just an update on the situation:
Sent a private message to their Weibo account, got a reply that says both clear and normal versions were only available for a limited time,
and only for their domestic market via the WeChat app.

Pressed on further and asked if there are any plans for holding that promotion again, radio silence after that...
Guess that's the end of that.

In the event that the details of getting Megs was not covered before, here is what you had to do(if I recall correctly):
- gather screenshots of proof of sales for all 6 NBK figures, or just 1 screenshot if you got the gift set.
- send them via WeChat app to the official NBK account.
- once verified, a password will be sent to you in order to proceed with the purchase.
(*note: all this must be done within a certain period this year. June 1st to June 12th, 2018)

 

Ridiculous to toss all that money at tooling and make it effectively impossible to get, probably even too much damn work to get for those who technically qualify.

It's a hell of a brand-loyalty stunt though, if that was their intent.

Not making this conventionally available is just stupid. I love the robot mode AND he's a good size! I feel like he'd do quite well, sales wise (even though his alt mode is hideous)

 

Dammit... I want this just to custom fit Henkei Megatron's pinhead on it to look like the Machinima version  

 

This may be one of the dumbest stunts I've seen a 3P companty pull. Its like a gigantic collector cocktease, which makes absolutely no sense for a brand new tooling.

I agree with bellpeppers: someone KO this figure, and get it out to market, because this is friggin' ridiculous.

 

I'm semi feeling the same way. I ordered from them, prior to making an account with them, so can't figure out how to even view the order.

I'd be mad if it was a little more money at current price, I'm viewing it simply as a "well, my mistake."

But I would like to figure out how to get some info from them on if I have any options.

He just arrived. Unfortunately he's loaded with scuff marks, a couple of scratches and nubs (the latter being easily fixed). And that's just OOB. *sigh

Going back, NBK did a great job. Transforms painlessly, but you may want to be careful nonetheless. Manual is way better than HasTak's, clear and simple. The only thing I can ask for is another faceplate.
