Cool to see the line up, but...

I thought SS was going for screen accuracy... doesn't that effort dissolve once you include as an official character with an official number in that line up, an exclusive non-movie character repaint like Thundercracker? Moreover, claim a specific movie to which he belongs, though he does not belong to any of them?

Sure, I don't have to buy him, but now my line up will be missing No 9. Also, they shouldn't give separate numbers to differently decorated Bumblebees. Just add a distinguishing letter next to the number, like Takara often does, so collectors can have a complete set, regardless of how many unwanted repaints they make (e.g., I can have a full MP numbered line up without having to buy several unwanted MP-10 repaints).

I became a movie collector again because of SS, now I have less motivation to continue collecting because I know I won't be buying every number and the line up will be left incomplete. I call bullshit.

 

This line started out amazing and turned to freaking shit fast!!!!!!! I’m so done with it!!!! Why do we need 7 bumblebees!!!!!!! If the wave after 25 isn’t good this line won’t last another year!!!!! Please SS line please be good again after this!!!! I want so many characters not freaking repaints or Bumblebees!!!!!!

 

God I hope we get new figures!!!! This is just sad!!! I thought this line was supposed to give us new figures we’ve never had and better versions of figures we had before!!!!! Not a bumblebee repaint line!!!!

 

A side note.... does anyone know where I can find and buy the hasbro version of the MPM Ironhide???

 

Just follow the TakaraTomy numbering system. They don't include the Hasbro exclusives in their count, and to date haven't released any exclusives of their own. The toys are identical between the two companies.

there are two leaders two voyager and 5 deluxes for next year at this point and they will reveal at toy fair

Nice to know 50% of the new ones are Bumblebee. They could have done a Smokescreen repaint off of Jazz or Dropkick from the first movie as a Silverado. But nah, it's just extra Bee recolors.

 

I'm more amused than irritated by all the Bumblebees, to be honest; it's a natural consequence of the movie coming soon, and better to let HasTak get this out of their system now. Besides, there comes a point in every TF Collector's life cycle where they have to quietly accept they will own a disproportionate amount of Bumblebees and Optimus Primes relative to everyone else.

 

Prime and bee are this franchise's flagship characters, and Hasbro will stick that to you as many times as possible. Not that I mind, a dotm mpm optimus would be nice

 

I\'m hoping we get some proper looking, screen accurate Wreckers at some point down the road.

 

Currently have 1, 2, 5, and 13. I did have 4 but returned it to buy 13.
