For a moment, when I looked at them, I thought \"wow a 3rd party was brave enough to show their stuff in front of Hasbro at SDCC, how did they manage to do that with faction symbols on them?\", then I realized these were licensed. And thought \"wow, Hasbro is actually letting a 3rd party sell stuff\". Funny how the collecting world has changed in 10 plus years.

Yeah. It would be cool if he came with some interchangeable parts that made him more comic accurate. But after how well received drift was I’ll at least have to at least pick up prime. Nice to see this company moving along well.

All of these look amazing. I’m really excited for the kits. Bumblebee looks really cool and so does starscream. Nemesis prime looks dope as well. May have to get that as well. The mini guys are adorable as well. The figure prime is looking pretty cool and star saber is looking great.

    Overpriced, non-transforming Transformers!

    What a GREAT idea!

Oh no, that\'s right, it\'s not.

If these were super-cheap, then they might be worth it.  As they are, they\'re about as relevant to me as caffine-free, non-sugar, clear Coke, sold at twice the price.

so what do you think if these weren't based on Transformers but some other mecha property?

Bumblebee looks short and stout, haha.
Tarn looks awesome though, too bad he doesn't transform and is likely to be super expensive.

I think you’ve missed the point of these. These are some of the best articulated and sculpted transformers we’ve ever gotten. You’re paying more to get more. You’re spending high for a high value product.

I can get great MP, 3P and KO figures with amazing articulation and sculpting, for far less AND they transform.

    Not convinced in the slightest.

Yes, but for the purpose of argument, let's assume I don't (often). I see the price reflecting the POTENTIAL uses, as well as the current uses, for want of a better term.

Alright. You transform them and you don’t want this. Fair enough. Saying that you’d get them for a cheaper price is asking a bit much though. They’re pouring so much effort into the articulation, sculpt work and features. This is a premium collectible and you’re gonna pay premium prices.

No, I'd can get OTHER figures for a cheaper price. Regardless, I think they're too expensive for what they are.

I could argue still but let’s just agree to disagree.

I'm digging the IDW Prime kit. He looks 100x better than the Gcreation figure, which is already a piece of work on its own.

The more I see Star Saber the more hyped I get!

Assuming these are around 6 inches tall, they should be roughly 1/60 scale. At least IDW prime should be, not sure how big the original designs are, as there’s no fiction to acompany them.

As to why they’re marked 1/144, I imagine someone asked what scale to put on the box, and was told “gundam scale”, so they googled it and got 1/144.
