Okay so in Japan Wonder Festival Summer 2018 took place, under a Transformers booth where Bumblebee movie advertisments are shown, a mysterious robot resembling Optimus appears.
Speculations implied that this is something in celebration of Meiji Restoration, but...this kinda resembles Optimus' cybertronian mode from the live action movies, and is placed under the Bumblebee panel, so...what is this?
It can't be for celebration, so...this might be Optimus' design in Bumblebee? I mean, not only that he resembles his cybertronian live action design, but also it had a G1 touch, it can't be for celebration.

 

He looks like a samurai I thought he was suppose to look more g1

The booth seems to have multiple sections for different showcases and I think Prime has nothing to do with BB Movie. TBH, that looks more like a Pre-Earth Lioconvoy wearing a Samurai armor.

If this is it indeed, there's nothing G1 about it. Very weird design. It kinda seems like Optimus Primal, or LioConvoy, more than any Prime.

At this point, who knows... What even is Cybertron anymore? It could be an area outside Athens, Georgia in this new "creative take". I'm told these things don't matter and we shouldn't expect them to matter.

 

I'm seriously lost, that guy does look like many things, but that chest is like Optimus' cybertronian design...

Besides, people who have actually seen it describe it as G1-looking.

 

That looks nothing like a G1 inspired Optimus Prime, it's looks like it too inspiration from the Knight design of Optimus.

I had a quick question... I was reading through the thread where you were describing Bumblebee's appearance back in January, and you mentioned the render you saw had a background to it. But it had to stay secret. Are you able to say what the background was now, or is it still a secret?
