Nice insight to what\'s to come from the comics.

 

I appreciate the way they're talking about all the end of the universe stuff, but also can we get at least a hint about what's next? I wanna know what to expect from the reboot after the current universe is done!

 

I really hope the future of Transformers Comics isn’t just Crossovers.

But, if that must be the case, it’s time that Hasbro and IDW make a deal with Bandai and Banpresto and get Transformers into Super Robot Wars. Hell, with Getter Robo and GaoGaiGar missing from the latest SRW, maybe it’s down to The Transformers to remind the other mecha franchises what Super Robots are all about.

Also, I’d just like that to happen~  

Somewhat similarly, I’d be at peace if there was a “Call of the Primitives” series with Sixshot, The Dinobots, The Predacons, SkyLynx, and Soundwave & Friends, and surely more, traveling around inside Trypticon having space adventures—that have nothing to do with Earth.

Just send those beastformers off to rip and tear some giant space monsters, and what not.

Is that likely? Nope. But, a Dynobutt can dream!

Well. No word on what comes after? I mean we get it. Unicron, the end of the universe, bumblebee who cares, like last year they gave us a better run down for the future I feel.
I'm not happy for the reboot but I at the very least hope idw still keeps the license long enough to pump out the hard cover collection through the Unicron story.

 

Really digging that LL #25 cover. So far in the shadow I\'m spotting Rung\'s glasses, Drift or Cyclonus\' sword, Swerve\'s \"My First Blaster\", one of those Helex Crystals Rung kept making, Brainstorm\'s briefcase, Tailgate\'s innermost energon he gave to Cyclonus on Necroworld, Tailgate\'s hoverboard, a Rodimus Star, Rodimus\' half of the Matrix, decorations from the holiday special, and a datapad belonging to (I think?) Ultra Magnus. Can anyone figure out the rest?

 

Too hard to make anything out .but I like the idea of the cover for sure .I look forward to seeing higher resolution images of it .

Thats my worry. I wouldn't be surprised if they struck a deal with Marvel.
But I REALLY want to see my hardcover collection completed. IDGAF about a reboot if I'm honest... Another 4 million years of war story I am most certainly not interested in.

 

Yeah, all I was interested in was what the new universe would be like and if it was stand alone (not shared).

 

Granted I don’t think they’d have anything to share cause they haven’t started working it yet. They’re completely focused on finishing the ending.

 

Just dropping in to leave another “I was hoping for news on what’s happening next” comment.

a) This summary is pretty disjointed - hopefully it gets edited into something coherent later on.

b) All "their focus is on endings" aside (which seems to be editorializing vs. something explicitly stated at the panel), I'm a bit surprised that there's not even hints of what is coming next, particularly because that was part of the original panel description. Makes me wonder if something happened in between the panel announcement and the actual panel.

c) The LL #25 cover is really ace. One of the best covers that the series has had. Oof.

 

I think you'll find that if they haven't started working on it yet, then they are in trouble.

The story's been written, all that's left is for it to be drawn up.

 

That's what I was thinking. I mean, they would almost have to have started the new continuity at this point.
