I just bought an extra TR Kup to make a custom Ironhide and then Hasbro beats me to the punch...

Why does sideswipe have a random knot sticking out on his hood/chest?

I was really kind of hoping that this between this and PoTP I could take a "break" and go real light on purchasing.

That Ultra Magnus looks incredible; now I'm sort of glad I never saw the CW one. Add in what looks like a good Voyager Prime that can finally allow me to stop using Henkei Prime and a Sideswipe figure that looks good and that's a pretty solid start. Holi and some of the Micromasters look like lots of fun.

Most Target/Battlemasters seems a must; similarly Cog (and those like him) seem like an answer to the "weapons packs" we've been wanting for years, so a few of those as well.

That's without seeing a single Decepticon as well.

I'll also admit, that I'm liking this Soundwave with Doombox; I never even saw TR Soundwave that I recall, though my interest level isn't that high, though if it lingers or has a good sale, that may be incentive enough.

Part of the linewide gimmick to add effects to it, so you can make it look like he's getting shot or whatever.

I hope not, but without the front car peg hole, she's lost foot mode and can't attach an hand either even if she still has the combining peg. Unless they found a new way to put the peg hole in.

With her mass amount of retooling though, it seems likely they did. Why keep in extra plastic when you can take it out for cost cutting and reducing assembly costs.

I'm more concerned by the fact that he's wearing Cog's entire frigging torso as a shield and that we can still see Cog's head on it. Sideswipe looks like a psychopath who randomly decided to dismember his comrade and wear his corpse as protection! That's... actually more than a bit disturbing.

The Fire Blast effect pieces from the Battle Masters can go on those 'knots' to look like he's getting shot.

Well, he's Target-exclusive this time around, but that still probably increases your chances of finding him. He'll have a shelf space all to his own and everything.

Since we're only seeing two characters from each patrol, I'd guess his info is accurate.

I thought I read somewhere it's also Target-exclusive? But don't quote me on that.

Well, just read through the thread and looked over all of the pictures. Some neat stuff and some stuff which does not appeal to me, but overall a good looking array of new product.

I will be getting the Targetmasters / Battlemasters as I have previously said. I have bought nearly all of the Titanmasters and have all of the Primemasters at the same price point. I very much like these small toys and my kids also enjoy them, so they are a no brainer. I can see my kids picking some of these up with birthday money as well.

While I am disappointed that the Micromasters are two-packs and not three-packs (like Mini-Con teams), let alone four-packs (like classic Patrols), I will probably buy the lot of them as well. I don't always buy Legends scale figures but have an easier time pulling the trigger on them due to size and price. And again small play pattern toys appeal to me.

For the larger figures, I will probably pass on all of it for myself since nothing jumps out and really "wows" me save Ultra Magnus / God Magnus, and he is really beyond the size I normally pick up. As it is I already have the CW Magnus... then again I own more versions of Magnus than any other TF character so who knows?

The four pack with the tablet/cassette repaints looks nice but I doubt I will get it. I have Buzzsaw in my collection, my oldest has Stripes, and I have Rewind, Laserbeak, Ravage, and "Rumble" (sorry, FIRRIB) on hand as gifts for the kids so I have plenty of tablet options.

Glad to see the reveals and eager to see some Decepticons as we move forward!

I mean, it wouldn't be that hard either, All it needs is a set of new head, and considering how the previous lines shown us, there were a good number of pre-tooled heads. I mean, i wonder if the Pretool head for Siege Ultra Magnus is based on his R.I.D Counterpart. Same hoping that a R.I.D Crosswise or R.E.V head for Siege Sideswipe.

If i can see, Siege Ironhide haves some potential with new head redecoes
-Ratchet (The most obvious one due to tradition)
-Snowcat (The mold works pretty well for him, plus if Ratchet takes the white redeco spot from him, there's always his Universe Color Scheme.)
-Energon Inferno (It does work, though it would require a new head with moving parts.)
-Energon Roadblock (Also could work, also requires moving parts)
-Energon Tow-line (Something to throw the curveball with the energon homages)
-Kup (Also an unusual choice, but considering Kup was a Targetmaster, it would make sense for a full circle retooling.)
-"Devastator" (Also an unexpected homage to the G.I. Joe Street Fighter Toyline's Purple Snow Cat Redeco.)
