I really like this toyline, especially the G1-ish styling lately. I'm looking forward to seeing these hit store shelves.

This is the kids line for the cartoon. So yeah. That's exactly what it is.

Interesting. It's like they shifted the scale one point. What normally would have been Deluxe/Warrior toys are now this new Scout size, and what would have been Voyagers in the past are now Warrior classes. I'm assuming that what used to be Scouts/Legends guys would be the Legion class, if they had them.

Considering the rising cost of toys, that's... Actually not a bad idea for the kids line.

Still going to get Shockwave if these ever see the light of day at retail.

As a fan of Windblade I'll get the Warrior figure too, thankfully she looks really good and one of the better figures in the lineup alongside Shockwave.

Kind of want to see more pics of Acid Storm.

For once, it looks like the gimmicky toy is superior to the Warrior figure in Shockwave’s case. That Shockwave will be mine. That Windblade also looks infinitely better than the RID one too.

Scout Windblade is really tempting too. Scout Slipstream, not so much.
Hope they do a retool of Windblade for deluxe Slipstream.

While on that note though, I hope they do a WFC Slipstream too.

Having now seen more pics in the big thread ... yeah I gotta get that Slipstream at least. Maybe Acid Storm too, but he doesn't look as good. Kinda want Shockwave too.

That Shockwave... That Windblade... That Optimus trailer with base mode...
I'm actually looking forward to this stuff. Most of the first wave stuff was stuff I'd probably skip over or only pick up if I found them in person.
Some of this stuff seems worth seeking out though!

Yeah I meant to mention it earlier but after like, three show toylines in a row with no gimmick trailer, it's nice to see it making a comeback! Clearly the return of moses telegraphed the return of trailers!

I\'m definitely buying the ultimate class Prime and Megaton for my two boys, but not sure what else, it\'s daft as my boys are too young to care, but I\'d like the other characters to scale with them.

So will have to look in the shops to figure out the best ones to get. I\'m not keen on the one step changers so that rules them out.

Looking at these, I'm actually starting to understand why the designers made Shockwave a spider tank.

They wanted to give us a good Shockwave. They knew this line was getting the short end of the articulation stick and intentionally designed an alt-mode that would ensure Shockwave would always have shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee joints regardless of size class! Even if Hasbro cut down on articulation, these joints would always be required to transform into a spider tank at all!

Genius move, unknown designer. You're awesome.

Not really feeling into this line of toys. But that's okay because the shelves with robots at the house is pretty full already.

But I think I will have to get that Shockwave. Not only what seems to be a nice sculpt but I like the rather anime inspired alt mode over the old G1 alt mode.

I like the cartoon designs a lot and the toyline has some neat ideas going into it. However I feel that some of the gimmicks have been overemphasized(and in the case of Warrior Starscream, it wasn't executed properly). If these were cheap(as in price) I wouldn't really think anything of these but given the price and ironically limited play value, I think this line is going to have to get away from gimmick emphasis quick to survive.

This line has a lot of potential but if the price doesn't go down or if the figures continue to be built around the gimmicks rather than having balanced integration, I don't think this line will have long legs.
