I’m betting they just set the end time incorrectly on the website originally. They probably set it based on Hong Kong time, which is 12 hours ahead, or it was set to end at the beginning of the 15th rather than the end.

@Ibock is correct. The date change was only to ensure that it would actually end o the 15th for everyone worldwide as the site is indeed HK time.

It will still end at the end of the 15th after the 15th ends pacific time in the US but it will be done manually.

    Hope that makes sense.

I thought this crowdfund would of broken the 100% mark on Friday, like the Hasbro sail barge did. The convention probably had an effect, hopefully another retailer will order some and break the goal barrier.

Anyone ever want to try selling 3p figures and have a couple thousand bucks laying around to play with? Now is the time

In my head I picture Maas toys kissing some serious butt of some retailers today. I pledged for a thundercracker yesterday Made me feel like while I was at home I was still in someway at tfcon

If anyone actually wants to help Maas toys then
    1) Why they heck isn't it front paged on all the major fan sites ?
    2) Is it hi-lighted as a pre-order on the websites that are selling it like BBTS (it should be front paged and in all their newsletters and social Media
    3) Also retweet / facebook etc.. the Campaign and if you are a Youtuber with a decent following make a short video saying this is your last chance.

Frankly I expected Maas toys to put a bit more effort into this their foot print is kinda poor on this.

Only 5% more to go, place your orders in now to reach the 80,000 goal for those who are interested. I agree with Max Tower, maas did a poor job in advertising there campaign, they should of been plastering it everywhere, or at least have the popular boards do a countdown or like Hasbro "build the barge" drive.

I get not wanting to have to pay kickstarter....but I’m curious if the Kickstarter community itself, non tf people, would have been worth 10-20k in pledges

At this range you think the creators parents would push this over the top

It isn't about paying kickstarter, it's about the fact that Hasbro can shut it down in nanoseconds like they have for other TF-related projects. Avoiding kickstarter helps them avoid Hasbro/Takara.

    1) All the major fan sites don't cover 3rd party products.

    2) BBTS has other, more important, products to sell. BBTS doesn't care if this one product from a tiny company is successful. They need to pump pre-orders for their Marvel Legends, Hasbro Transformers, Hot Toys, etc, etc.

Pledged a potential $10 to this, don't know if I'll end up getting the figures but I want to see it made. Nothing else at TFCON wowed me as far as Starscreams go, so this may end up being the way I go. I am hoping to see the headsculpts improved somewhat long term.

I wouldn't count as the same that because it used specific Hasbro trademarked terms. Maas isn't calling them Transformers, Starscream or Decepticons. You may recall Play With This Too, while it didn't raise enough, didn't get shut down, and they had Grimlock and Starscream-alike characters.

There was another campaign with muscle men figures a while back that had a Bumblebee looking figure. No problems.

Hopefully Maas toys is as transparent during the process as they said. Getting a front row seat for the next year of watching a 3p figure go soup to nuts is going to be worth 100$ of entertainment on its own.

I was only interested in the 3 pointmen, but I'm on assisted living and can't afford to support this crowd funding, but I can buy each of them one at a time as they come out, hopefully it'll not be released all at once.
