Plus we a) can't expect every poster to go back and read through the entire thread to see their point has been discussed or resolved in the past, even if that would be nice and b) Isn't it better to politely set them straight and refer them to the previous discussion or ignore then if you are tired of hearing it? I had to think long and hard about getting the HT Arkham Knight Batman and Arkham Asylum/City Joker. I think Mr J went up for P.O. before I actually made the foolish decision to start collecting some Hot Toys so that amount of money still seemed pretty mad to me. If Joker went up now I’d probably buy without hesitation. I’ve now made an internal agreement with myself to only buy Prequel Hot Toys Star Wars characters who I’m particularly fond of; not because I’m a millennial who relishes in the ironic nature of prequel appreciation via meme culture, but because I’m a millennial who actually really likes the aesthetics of those character designs. Lord of the Rings is also in the running.
If I were to run into a spending dilemma however, Beast Wars will always take priority. It’s one of my first and most enduring loves and the characters in that show no doubt helped shape my own character and morals. It’s a pretty big deal to me and I like to think that, even without the epic nostalgia factor and personal bias, this Megatron is honestly the best looking toy around. He’s just glorious so, although his price is unobjectionably high, I have no issues personally justifying it.

I seriously need some Brits to trial AJ and see if it’s a good option for me because you guys are rubbing this constant price dropping in hard!

 

I'm in the Netherlands and I'd also like to read shipping comparisons between NY and AE from fellow Europeans. My go-to places are CDJ, AmiAmi, HLJ and Rakuten but ordering from any of those would be a pretty taxic experience.  

 

well, the die is cast and I've taken the pre-order plunge (Kapow Toys price seems really reasonable to me).

Next couple of weeks are going to be great! Dinobot and Zeta Onslaught both coming out as well.

Ew, please no. I'd much rather see metallic paint with a gloss topcoat than tacky-ass chrome.

 

Is metallic paint actually going to replicate the shiny look from the show?

I have two.on pre-order by accident. Was going to cancel one but thought, meh, there's always someone who wants one at the last second when all the good deals are gone. If I decide to just keep my one then I can help someone else save a bunch of change.
