So if BBTS pledge is the retailer incentive, then that's a fixed contribution per case, not individual volumes that filter through to the overall total.

Buying from BBTS doesn't necessarily help the crowdfunding at all, unless enough people do it to mean they need to up their own pledge to get another case...

No matter the numbers, BBTS will order more parts from Maas than Maas will lose. As more preorders come in, BBTS will order more cases.

Wrong. It was already stated by people in the know that BBTS has already made their pledge. There is no guarantee they will order more if they sell out. They are such stupid assholes for putting up preorders on a crowdfunding project still in progress.

If you want to help this fail, cancel your pledge and go BBTS.

They made a Cybertronian Bumblebee called Skiff with some repaints and they made the Unrustable Bastards. I have both figures and neither one had any issues. The ball joints on my copies weren’t loose or tight. They can hold all their weapons and poses. The plastic feels similar to Maketoys or Fansproject. They are just really well articulated figures that are fun to mess with.

It's not the first time they've done this either.

This is why there should be no retailers involved. Hasbro the world's largest toy company did there own crowdfund for jabba the huts sail barge and other was successful with over 8,800 pledges. There was no retail option and this piece will not be sold again, nor to any retailer.

Getting retailers involved is an awesome way to get funded - as long as said retailers aren't assholes and they use some common sense to understand how crowdfunding works.

I pledged for the first three, but in reality, I'm in for however many there are (six at least). I hope this happens!

I don't want any of the standard seekers or coneheads, but I would go in on pretty much any unique repaint of the mold. If there was a pledge for that, I would happily go in (and would be okay with the longer wait to receive it if they were to be made later, which I'm assuming they would).

I am the same. I have enough figures based on the "big six", but since I want to support the mold being repainted into background characters, I pledged for one Thundercracker to show support. I hope we get the less supported characters from the mold eventually.

What might be a nice pledge option is for "one repaint figure coupon" option. Costs the same as other Seekers, and if I pledge it I can turn in the coupon for one of their repaints they do in the future. I take a risk in that the repaints might not be my favorite guys, but I'd gladly buy 2 or 3 of those and take my chances I see things like Metalhawk, SG Starscream or Needlenose repaints! If I don't see any repaints I like, I could always turn in the coupons for Starscream and Thundercracker later.

Maybe guys who pledged for repaint coupons would get two votes for picking the first repaint option, since it's what they want?

I actually agree with you guys - the potential repaints are of the most interest things like Sunstorm and Universe Ramjet would appeal to me - but I didn't know I wanted a Needlenose until I say that repaint idea - and that looks perfect too.

They are doing the funding on their own page. They can make up any rule they want. If it helps get the jets made, I am happy.

My guess was they wanted it to go just past TFCon so they can promote him there while pledges can still be made.

Originally they wanted to announce success at TFcon. Now with Beng so close, they probably want to let people have more time.

Ironically they posted this on Twitter recently...

    IMG_20180714_075734.jpg

Even their update image mentions the 15th.

But the text of the page reads the 16th.

Hopefully pics of these guys in a display this weekend will be enough to get folks to pledge.

Hell...hopefully another store or two will pledge as well.
