Personally I wouldn't be interested in 1/6 scale figures. Making them in scale with Marvel Legends would seem like a better plan. But that is just my opinion. :)

Hey! Maybe Cassy can just reverse engineer a MSIA Zeta Gundam. See, that's the Wave Rider! :p

They all look great but I don't think I like Pretenders enough to pay 12" high end figure prices for them.
I hope he gets backed though, I'd be happy to look at the pics and maybe eventually break down and buy my favorite (Cloudburst).

I'd be down for 7 inch scale with legends inside.

Yeah, throwing in my vote of support for these, but also for 6" shells instead. I think they'd work much better scaling with other humanoid lines like Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black series. 6" is significantly more popular than 12" and I think the more popular scale along with reduced cost would see them sell pretty well.

Very cool but I will stick with the POTP Pretenders - my wallet will thank me ;)  Even in 3P, Stranglehold never gets any love :D

Ah, a sign to watch TF: Masterforce, and Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos.

To wit, an IDW Arcee that combines with her pre-transition self ala Godannar would be cute, but I suppose it should be more like Gundam Virtue/Nadleeh.

If there aren't even any plans to produce these, I hope anyone wanting to take the risk would consider making the shells MP-10 size, but trying to keep the size of the inner robots by having most of their mass turn into a backpack when inserted in the Pretender shell.

Nope. I should have added "Marvel Comic" to MP scale, as all Pretenders in the Marvel comics were giant sized. Yes the irony of "Pretenders" was not lost on me when I first read the comics they were introduced in.

As a result though, they should be MP-10 sized figures, with the inner robots being whatever size necessary (Grimlock, Thunderwing and Starscream possibly being the largest).

They could change size in the Marvel comic too. In one issue Cloudburst's shell rode inside his jet mode. Landmine's shell rode inside Cloudburst too, and inside that shell was Landmine's robot!

Think thats more to do with how mass-shifting works than the Pretender shell size. Also, scale was all over the place in the comics, as well as the cartoon, depending on the artist.

I kind of dig the idea... Maybe make them all Titanmaster compatible, and scaled as Scouts/Deluxes? Or try to make a version of these guys that are basically super-articulate/detailed versions of the POTP Pretenders? I like the idea behind what they did with Headmasters/Targetmasters/Pretenders with the CW-PotP stuff... but the execution for the Pretenders leaves much to be desired. Limited articulation for the bots... and the lie flat on their face for "gun" mode........ The Titanmaster vehicles were far more ingenious, by comparison.

Where is the option to vote for "All!" Because I'd want all of these.

    All.

"Mass Shifting" is just a TF term for size changing. My point is they were not ALWAYS large in human form, just when they wanted to be large.
