    I've always wanted that mold, but Hasbro can keep on smoking whatever they were when they came up with that price.

    That is literally as much as I paid for my Hasbro MP10, whose legs alone are the same size as this entire package. Heck, I actually paid less with a TRU coupon.

    According to some, the original Takara release went for $100 as well, and having looked up some listings from BBTS and the like, that is indeed the case.

    I'm surprised price didn't jump.

    I really want this toy, but will have to wait for a discount, 100$ is still too steep for such a tiny toy.

    Umm, they already did, during Cybertron? No? There was a repaint too as I recall.
    And best Prime? hardly. It's a clunky mess with zero waist articulation. People bemoaning G1 to be "blocky" should look at this thing and rethink their arguments. I had it, even got Wing Saber for him, then sold both of them a year later.

    This, so much. No stupid gold chrome or terrible paint apps.
    Still, I kinda wish they would just release toy of the proper animal whenever "Year of insertzodiachere" comes out. Year of the Snake? Release BW Neo Cohrada and BM Night Viper. Year of the Horse? Release BW Neo Mach Kick. Year of the monkey? Release BW B-Boom and Optimus Minor. :)

    I have that one (THS-01), and it's just as amazing, if not more so than the G1 version.

    It's cool how they can be mistaken for each other. The Hybrid version even has more articulation than the awesome Cybertron mold.
    Incidentally, the leader mold is one of my all-time favorite Prime figures ever.

    This is already on sale in our local TRU.
    Around the price range of MPM-03 Bee.
    Still it warms the shelves.
    Maybe people can't justify shelling the amount of money on such "little" Prime :lol :

    I remember when I took those pictures... pretty cool to see them again, seeing at I've lost all my originals! I only recall paying $50 for each of them, not a hundred.

    I paid significantly more for my Galaxy Force version, but it was totally worth it to me.
