ActionRobo in Yau Ma Tei (although they are moving and I'm not sure when as I'm not mobile enough to head out there at the moment) generally have all the name brand KO/fake 3P stuff and take pre-orders (but often sell out).
There are also a couple of stores in In's Point (also Yau Ma Tei right next to the MTR).

For a whole street of KO ranging from the absolute worst to some of the oversized higher end figures then head to Fuk Wing street in Sham Shui Po. Take the MTR and take the exit for the Golden Computer Centre.

I don't know about specific figures sorry as I only collect licensed stuff myself... I just happen to take a lot of friends and the odd collector to these places when they ask.
My one piece of advice would be to shop around first to find the best price unless you know something is super rare or a one off. Odds are you will find it cheaper than the first shop you find stuff in and if you don't you can always go back.

    Enjoy your hunt!

I spent a week's worth of time in Hong Kong cataloguing the best places for Transformers and other toys, mostly in In's Point and Sino Centre and the Mong Kok area in general.

Here's my list of the best places to buy Transformers in Hong Kong:

Hobbybase, on the third floor of Sino Centre.
Go up the LIFT to the third floor, go through the single door you will see, turn right immediately, go through the door in front of you and you will be in Hobbybase.
Be advised, Hobbybase is not open on Sundays.

The Toy Shop, flat 507 in Sino Centre
They don't have that many Transformers but it's worth a visit. They sell lego and stuff like that mainly.

Action Toys only has a few Transformers but it's worth a visit while you're there anyway. It's on the tenth floor of Sino Centre, room 1006.

Also, if anyone's looking for Hot Toys, they have a physical store on the twentieth floor of Sino Centre, aptly named Secret Base. It's pretty hard to find! Look online for photos, it's pretty amazing. Hot Toys is based in HK, BTW.

So at In's Point there are loads of stores for buying Transformers, just have a look around, but I've listed the best ones in order of priority. You'll find the shop number above the door:

Wai Gu Lok, Shop 203 and 236

    Good Toys, Shop 206

Good Toys also has another shop nearby in Richmond Centre, Shop 202

Action Robo has a physical store about a 3 minute walk away from Sino Centre. It's exact address is on Google Maps, if that helps.
They used to have a shop in In's Point. If you have a look around in In's Point, you'll find a shop with lights off and loads of Transformers in the display. There's a sign saying, "We've moved" and then the exact address of their new store.

Wonderland is a Toy Chain in HK. It has 3 or 4 stores in HK, I can't quite remember.
I've been to 3 of them, and the other one might have closed down.
But the largest and best one for Transformers is the one in Whampoa Gardens. So the Whampoa Gardens one has changed location since 2013, AFAIK, it's now a larger store on the corner of a main street rather than a smaller store in a side street. It's only moved about 1 minute away but just so you know, some directions online might be incorrect.
There are 2 or 3 other Wonderland stores, just look on Google Maps for their addresses

Hope this list helps anyone who goes to Hong Kong. GOOD LUCK GUYS! :)  :)  :)

EDIT: Please also have a read of @BladeStorm's post down below for more info.

How long ago were you there? This has changed somewhat since you visited. In's Point has undergone renovation and the Action Robo displays along with a lot of the amazing vintage displays are gone. Also note Action Robo will be moving from their current first floor location1/2 way between Sino and In's to a new shop sometime in the coming months... hopefully with more space!

People should note that as with the change of seasons HK stores change their inventory. At the moment Star Wars is the flavour of the season, a few months back it was Marvel so always be prepared to walk the toy malls a little regardless of any guides you read... on the plus side HK is obsessed with Transformers so you'll always find some stock floating around unless the figures are sold out (like LG35 currently). Come May/June with the release of the next movie Transformers will swing into fashion again in a big way and many more stores will stock them but places like Hobbybase are always guaranteed to have a good selection regardless of the time of year or popularity of the franchise.
The one store missing from this list in In's Point is Tokyo Station. It's moved recently as well and is now on level 2 somewhere towards the back but still has a good range of TF's from various lines most of the year although nowhere near as amazing as Hobbybase.

Whampoa is the flagship Wonderland so definitely worth a visit ... if nothing else to also make sure you take a walk to the concrete cruise ship. There is also an Aeon and Toys'R'Us in the area so it isn't a wasted trip toy-wise... also several other tourist sites off the beaten track for those interested in history and boat construction. The only other Wonderland store worth visiting is in Provident Centre in North Point on Hong Kong Island which is convenient if you are staying on the Island, and also close to a Tim Ho Wan if you want to try super cheap michelin star dim sum. ;)

Depending on what is coming out I visit Mong Kok once or twice a month. Hobbybase knows me by name - although in his defense I am the ONLY female non-chinese Transformers collector in Hong Kong so I stand out a bit. ;)  But I generally don't do all the malls in one go unless I have a lot of free time (which isn't very often) as there are simply sooo many stores and sooo many figures and goodies to scan through.
I like to browse the shops because they change so quickly and you never know what random goodies you're going to find and shop around in terms of prices and pre-orders. My sole focus tends to be Transformers although I do appreciate a lot of the other stuff I see and if I had space/$$ I'd be a sucker for a lot of theVoltron, Gundam and Macross too. ;)

I really like the gang at Action Robo and Panda

Toy R Us HK is pretty poor at staying up to date and also I believe they only sold one of these box sets.

The biggest one is in TST so that might be a place worth checking out.

I have seen quite a lot of seige on Cybertron in TRU at Harbour City, also in Wanchai toy street. I don't recall the Velocitron set.

Edit: actually they did have them at the HK anicom this morning, together with the skateboard Optimus, but all sold out now. I'm not sure if they get more stock tomorrow.

Hey guys! Currently in HK right now. Where is the best area to find MP KOs? I heard Sham Shui Po is good, but I have no idea where to start looking. Any suggestions?

Not too sure but you could start by searching here: Yahoo香港拍賣-免費刊登,盡情分享

They list all manner of TF items and where you can collect them from.

There are some other HK collectors who might have insights.

Come out of exit B for the post office at Shum Shui Po and head up past 7-11 to Fuk Wa Street. Turn left and there are a few shops there about 1 block down. 80's toys is pretty decent and there are a few market stalls opposite.
Also try Action Robo in Yau Ma Tei and the shops at In's Point in Yau Ma Tei.
    Happy hunting!

Have you tried Toys'R'Us? (TST might have it). Alternatively look through the stores in Yau Ma Tei. I know a few of them had it last week (might be sold out by now though).

Hi guys - any ideas where I might find POTP Nemesis prime or any of the recent walmart G1 reissues?

Hobbybase was sold out of Nemesis.
