Looks pretty good in either mode, though the beast heads really could've used a spread joint to allow the necks to separate. Transformation is annoying in the same ways Dinobot Snarl's is, and the use of more flexible plastic makes it feel off. Limb modes are decent, though I'm not a fan of the 'hole on a stick' design of the arm mode's hand connector.

For me, it's a nice looking yet not particularly enjoyable to handle toy, along with Cutthroat, though both are fine as chunks of Abominus.

Finally, a proper update to my favorite Terrorcon. :)

    The Kup's Collection - POTP Sinnertwin - 1.JPG

Robot mode screems G1 and I absolutely love it (I especially love the head sculpt!)

Sinnertwin comes with 2 accessories: his gun and combined mode hand/heal spur (which is also his prime armor)

Dragon mode is spot on to how he looked in G1 (dragon mode is what attracted me to Sinnertwin in the first place :D ).

Does anyone have a Sinnertwin with a bad shoulder hinge? On mine the right shoulder/front right leg doesn't really click into place for dragon mode, and it just barely clicks in for robot. Otherwise, I'm enjoying him, although so far, he's my least favorite of the four Terrorcons that I have.

Picked Sinnertwin up along with his other wave mates last night. Really, really cool! Looks good in every mode and I love the beast mode head/neck articulation. Sure, I wish the necks could have separated, but whatever. Something else that I want to mention is that I love the integration of the Prime Armor in the Terrorcons beast modes. I think they actually add something instead of just being tacked on. Very cool added bonus.

Looking at the horns on his beast heads, they look like the color that his tail was on the original toy. I wonder if it was originally supposed to have been painted and then they had to cut out something from the budget.

When you say integrated, do you mean that there's an obvious place to plug them in on each figure's beast mode, instead of just putting them on the side of a shoulder or whatever? Because that's not really what I think of as "integrated", but I agree with you that it's nice that there's at least a way to connect them on each one rather than just having to tosee them in a drawer.

It triggers my OCD more than is should to see that Sinnertwin doesn't have a "Terrorcon" prefix before his name on his packaging and collector card, unlike the rest of his team.

Robot Mode: Much like with his fellow Terrorcons, the first thing I thought upon seeing Sinnertwin’s robot mode was that he’d make a great Genericon. There is just something so Late-80s-Marvel-TF-Comics about him, I love it. He’s blocky, he’s colorful, and he’s got a cute little look of befuddlement on his face, too. Very nicely done. He’s an extensive retool of Power of the Primes Snarl, but you barely notice. He looks all new!

Sinnertwin comes with a green rifle and the obligatory combiner fist he can wear as a chest armor. It doesn’t look as bad on him as it does on other figures of the line (*cough* Moonracer), but still not all that good. Side note: for the very first time I noticed that this little filler plate in the combiner fist, where you can also fit a Prime Master, is actually meant to be a small hand gun. Not that it really looks like one, mind you, but you can use it as such.

What else to write? Sinnertwin has the standard amount of articulation and detailing for a current-day Deluxe-class figure, so no surprises here. The two monster heads from his alternate mode are on his back and if you want you can flip in his robot head and instead turn him into a robot with two monster heads, too. Overall I very much like this robot mode. It’s nothing spectacular, but very nicely done. Thumbs up!

Alternate Mode: Sinnertwin transforms into a two-headed yellow hell hound creature of sorts. The robot basically goes down in all fours, the two beast heads flip forward from the back, and that’s pretty much it. But it makes for a pretty cool-looking monster, no doubt. The two monster heads are ball-jointed with opening jaws. Sadly the necks can only move up and down, not sideways, but that’s just a small thing.

Not much more I can write here that the pictures don’t tell better. You can store Sinnertwin’s rifle on the beast’s back and the big combiner fist / chest armor attaches to his side. He’s got those little knobs on his back where you can plug in the feet of Titan- or Prime-Master figures. And he looks pretty good as a two-headed Hell Hound, too. Nice beast mode.

Combiner Mode: Sinnertwin becomes an arm or a leg of the Abominus combiner and is compatible with pretty much every torso-robot from Combiner Wars and Power of the Primes, too. More on Abominus once I’ve finished reviewing the individual team members.

Remarks: Sinnertwin, mostly known as “the other Terrorcon who also got two heads”, shares the fate of his fellow team mates in that he never got much in the way of character development or media presence apart from being part of the team and Abominus. He’s got one of the cooler names in TF history, but that’s about it.

As a figure Sinnertwin is good. He’s not my favorite Terrorcon, he’s more that guy you need to buy in order to complete the team and the combiner, but that doesn’t make him a bad figure by any stretch of the imagination. He just doesn’t stand out as much as Blot or Rippersnapper, for example. So overall a good Deluxe-class figure and a must if you wish to complete Abominus. And not bad as a stand-alone figure to fill up your Decepticon ranks, either.

Other than the beast mode heads not able to separate, I like this updated Sinnertwin from his G1 self.

The thing that really stands out for me with this guy is that 1) the colours are incredible, that's such an intense yellow and 2) they really went all out with adhering to the G1 aesthetic, didn't they? They haven't just updated a G1 design to more modern sensibilities, they have explicitly preserved the blockiness of 80's toys. They updated the toy rather than the character. There's often been a decent lean towards copying the toy's style but this is taking it further.

For me, personally, Sinnertwin looks best in his robot mode. His beast mode is unique and all but there's just something so uncompromising about the robot itself. That and the ridic colours is what does it for me.

Just got this guy, since I've been hemming and hawing over the Terrorcons and I felt like I had to buy at least one toy from POTP.

Visually, his robot mode looks great. It's super blocky like others have said, which isn't my thing, but he pulls it off really well. I'm not sure why, however, but I'm really not feeling this mode. It looks good (though boring, due to his near complete lack of kibble, but that's not the toy's fault) and the colors are fantastic, but I dunno. Also, man, I really wish he had better head articulation. Might as well just have a swivel since that balljoint is so restricted. He makes up for it with his beast heads though.

His beast mode is super nice though! I was unsure about the stiff looking necks being unable to move sideways, but it isn't much of an issue in hand. I wish his back legs were balljoints but he's still fun and very sturdy. The only other "Prime Trilogy" deluxes I have are the three Decepticon Headmasters, who also had really fun beast modes, so Hasbro's been doing well there.

Plastic quality definitely does feel unimpressive but fortunately the yellow plastic looks good and isn't that gross, almost-translucent quality that yellow/red plastic often gets.

Going to preface this by saying that I do genuinely like each and every one of the terrorcons, both individually and as a whole, I think they're a great set and I could not be happier having real proper updates to them like this.

Sinnertwin is definitely my least favorite/the "worst" of them though. His beast mode is fine, I wish there was a touch more articulation to the heads/necks, but I think that's just Hun-gurrr spoiling me more than anything. I guess I also wish his tails were a tiny bit longer? Otherwise I don't actually have any complaints about his beast mode, though a second two-headed dragon type creature always felt a bit much to me and even with the originals I do kinda feel that I rather have seen them do something different, but I do still like him that aside. His prime armor looks ok on his back as well, though I do prefer mounting the gun there rather than on his arm so that's kind of a bummer. Transformation is fine, nothing supper surprising or impressive, just serviceable. His robot mode is where my real issues come in. I just don't like much about his upper body at all. The proportions on the chest just feel odd, his arms feel like they really lack any kind of dynamics to them, I dunno. I also wish there was something to cover up the prime armor port like there is on Blot and Rippersnapper. The headsculpt is also just..not very interesting. His leg mode is ok, but I'm still not entirely sure what you're supposed to do with the beast legs on either side, nothing really seems to actually peg in like I expect (if at all). Colors work surprisingly well together, it's definitely my least favorite colorscheme of the group, but it works. So yeah, he's not a bad toy at all, he's just not as good as the others and his bot mode looks kinda wonky. Sinnertwin is still an amazing name though.

I thought mine was loose, but I think it's just the way it's designed; like it doesn't LOCK in place, and there's a little wiggle room in robot mode configuration, right? Just want to make sure mine's not a dud or anything.

I have the same issue I think, but for the left robot shoulder instead. Not really a big issue for me but I keep him in beast mode.

I think because the tab locking it in acts as more of a 'stopper' than a tab

Opened Sinnertwin. He's pretty good. Bot mode feels a bit generic, but accomplishes what it needs to. Biggest issue I have with it are the shoulders. 1) I feel they sit too low, and 2) the rotate-y bits they're on are kinda wobbly. Luckily there are plenty of locking points in the other modes, so the wobbliness is really only an issue for bot mode. His head could also use a bit more articulation, but at least it's balljointed (unlike Cutthroat...).

Beast mode is cool. I really don't have many issues, and I find it far more enjoyable than his robot mode. Like others have said, he could benefit from being able to separate the necks a bit more, but eh. I can live with how it is.

The limb modes are both great. Nice chunks of mass that lock together fantastically. He'll be a leg for my configuration, but I wouldn't mind either one. Biggest complaint is the hollowness of the wrist in arm mode.

So, yeah. Not overly impressive on the whole, but functions just fine.
