I happened to have some fairly thick gauge steel (2 mm thick) I had to cut out of a monitor mount. That said, you can find similar gauge steel in any hardware store. I dremel cut 8 mm x 8 mm squares, filed/sanded them clean and spray painted them white. Then super glued them in place. Tbh I may double them up - there's enough room in the foot to fit more and not interfere in transformation

Updated with a second steel block to add a little more weight. Also fills in a little of the foot

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but Ocean makes a set for MP Red Alert. Uncle Billy sells them on both his website and eBay:

Ocean Detail decals for TF MP14 Red Alert,In stock!
Ocean Detail decals for TF MP14 Red Alert,In stock! | eBay

I don't know if they will be a perfect match for Recon as I've received neither the decals nor the fig yet, but I'm confident I can make it work.

Looks good and is much easier and faster to apply than a water slide.

Agreed here. It really depends on the application. Sometimes, waterslides look better.

I bought from him too. Thanks for the heads up

Edit: wait a minute. I got shipping notice and tracking number from seller a couple of days ago. I hate it when a seller prints out shipping label but doesn't actually send it til days later.

Yep. I hate that too. I placed the order back on 6/29, during last Friday's 15% off $25+ Ebay flash sale and was curious as to why my tracking number still isn't active. I emailed him this morning and that's what he told me. He said he is willing to send over Sideswipe now and then Red Alert once it arrived. I think I'll just wait until Red Alert arrives and have them both shipped together in the same shipping box under one tracking number as intended. But yeah, I hate when they do that.

I just watched the BSF review of this guy and I'm curious, are any of you having stability or posing issues with Recon? The feet tilts are a little unusual, but I've found that if you make sure they sit flat he stands like a champ. I can even poke the chest repeatedly and he stands upright. I DO think diecast in the feet or in the lower body somewhere would have helped solidify it, but his complaints seem a little exaggerated.

Highly exaggerated in my opinion. My Recon stands and poses just fine for me.

I would not listen to BFS on this one...he seems to have brought his baggage towards BC transformations along for the ride. Both steamroll and recon are perhaps the most straight forward (and intuitive) transformations Badcube have ever done. Yet he makes them seem excessively difficult. But to be fair he is not known for his skills with regards to transformations.

Listen, I am a subscriber of his, but I will always tell you that if you want a really detailed and objective review....watch Emgo or Peaugh. Those guys go into the nitty gritty of a figure and do so rather objectively. They also do not exaggerate any aspects of transformation/flaws for the sake of comedy. Now if you want to have a few chuckles and generally be entertained...BSF is the man for that job.

So I've been having a bit of an issue getting him back into car mode. His fake hood underneath the car doesn't want to seem to sit flush enough to allow the arm panels to fold down flush as well. When I fold the hood up it bumps into the sliding white pieces that hold the arms on. Anyone got a solution?

Forward and reverse transformation stop motion style. Very impressive. I hope they do this on all their vids going forward. I'm sure it took a great deal of time to put together but it is much appreciated. When I watch transformation vids on Youtube I highly prefer those that show forward and and reverse and unfortunately there's only a couple reviewers that do this, Paik4life and Optibotimus. It's nice to see Toy Dojo is doing this as well. It is needed given the increasing complexity of these bots nowadays.

    Here is the YouTube version.
