    This is what the toy should have been like if they hadn't decided to cut the budget by 8%. Goddammit Hasbro, why do you make it so easy to support 3rd party companies with your cost cutting?

    This is going to be one helluva polished "turd". I am digging this kit, a lot. Of note, the wheel goes in the back gap for ape mode just like the original's did...I have a feeling this kit would further augment the figure for those who are wanting to separate Optimal from Primal. I look forward to getting this set (and eventually getting the figure, if he ever shows up in my neck of the woods).

    Yeah, that and screen accurate accessories. I still think PE will make the inner gorilla though, just like the ginrai/PMOP/magnus sets though.

    Keep in mind it took a 2nd/3rd/4th mold to get perfect effect to make that figure. They didn’t when cw Magnus came out and they technically didn’t when pmop came out, only when lg Ginrai came out did they make it for prime/Ginrai and Magnus and then with primitive prime they did the black version. I wouldn’t expect an inner gorilla unless optimal gets at least one repaint

    This turned out to be a darned handsome kit, the way it fills in the monkey's hollow neck area is downright charming. Too bad it's necessary on a FIFTY DOLLAR FIGURE.

    It's cool to see that these 3rd party upgrade kits are still a thing. This one is rather inspired, especially how the wheels fill in that hollow gap in ape mode.

    Wow this is a great fix for this annoying but lovable base figure. Im in!

    Its funny how Hasbros ultra low budget approach has enabled a whole cottage industry to spring up just to fix their mistakes.:rolleyes: ;) :D
