I love how Hasbro is making a conscious effort to acknowledge Taktom's part, while Taktom is desperately covering up any references to Hasbro in an attempt to pretend that they're still anything more than a distributor. It's so pathetic, and makes Taktom look like some kind of thieves.
So something interesting... I only got the Prime Masters and Legends class figures. Got the today from Amazon Japan. Every figures bubble on the card was sticky taped down, even at the top of the card. Looks really strange and tacky. Is this how it is in the US releases?
(sigh) Well, I am aware that some collectors in Japan want the Hasbro versions anyway, which is fine, but I was hoping to get Legends versions of Beachcomber, Windcharger, Tailgate, Battletrap and Outback. And then of course Hydra and Buster. Is there any indication that the Legends line (and hopefully UW as well) will continue soon?
The only difference between Hasbro's and TakaraTomy's POTP releases - the lack of code markings on TakaraTomy's. たごーる on Twitter
This collector got POTP Wreck-gar's card packed in with his TakaraTomy POTP Prime. モリーベル/DRILL on Twitter
lol I know that place. Bought a last min Godzilla geek gift for a co-worker once and a last min gift for my child with me another time. Complete convenience factor; price included. I applaud their business win. So ... pp-09 doesn't look any different than the Hasbro version so far is the consensus ? Could of at least given him blue hands. Still getting it since I think I'll win on picking up in Japan at my haunting spot; USD Credit card wins here. Hasbro version of POTP Prime got by me initially.
If that is true.....its mindblowing to think that they went with the lower of the two standards upon unifying the brand. Ridiculous.
After waiting so long for a proper leader Rodimus Prime, they release it just at the same time as Legends going under. Talk about a fucking monkey's paw. Why couldn't they have just waited until the Prime Wars trilogy was over? This frustrates me beyond reasoning
