I've had these figures for a long time now. They are my classics and MP versions of these characters. They are amazing to play with, be on display, and I would not give them up for the world.

 

They looks absolutely amazing next to Orion (before I sold him). I actually currently have them standing with CW Prime (fitted out with the SND kit) and they look great.

I love Classics Prime, but his chief shortcoming is... hes short. Him and Classics Megatron both would have been absolutely perfect as Ultra class.

 

So went ahead and ordered defense specialist too, overall paid about $104 for both patrol and defense specialists, glad they come with the ironhide and ratchet heads and not just the new ones (who is the new head for ironhide supposed to be? I know the one for ratchet is first aid)

 

Tote. He was a G1 Micromaster with a very Ironhide-ish red van for an alt mode.

 

Yea, won't be needing that head   but glad they had an excuse to rerelease each figure and cheaper too!

 

Anyone looking to buy these two guys? I love them in my MP display, but have run out of space, especially with all those weapons! I have both Ironhide and Rachet, along with the boxes and the gajillion accessories. Shoot me a PM if you're interested - they are really cool and better than the Takara MP versions IMHO.

 

Got my defense specialist in! He's great! I'd have liked him a tad shorter but overall I'd say he makes the best chug ironhide I've seen so far

 

Yeah, Igear Ironhide is awesome, especially with that IDW facesculpt. Unfortunately Igear Ratchet is a bit on the boring side in my opinion. Still probably the best non-MP Ratchet out there, though, along with Prime Ratchet.

 

Yes I love the idw heads for ironhide!!! Wish there was a prime/current idw head for the ratchet, but with me planning on getting Mmc beta and calidus I felt I needed a voyagerish ratchet. The joints on my patrol specialist are a bit loose, but considering I got him used he is in excellent condition!

 

I hate to necro this thread, but can Ratchet and Ironhide stand in with a CHUG collection>

I still keep mine around for CHUG. For that, I think they're great.

 

That's pretty much exactly what they're for. They're nice and Voyager-sized.

 

one thing i really liked about these guys, ironhide especially, was how... vintage? ironhide looked. the colors on the alt mode just sold him as one of those old school vans from the 80's.

 

Yep, I'd say these are the best neo-G1 CHUG Ironhide and Ratchet you're going to get. And for that, they're pretty good.

 

Is thee anywhere I could get an ironhide for cheap? I’ve always wanted one of these but they were super expensive for awhile.

 

You could’ve just gone like two or three pages back. There’s so many pictures of ironhide and ratchet with chug and masterpiece figures

 

Yeah, back when I had the space for a Classics shelf, these two along with MP-10v for Prime, and the older, taller Classics/Universe deluxes made for a good display.

They'd probably be a bit too tall next to Classics Prime and the newer/smaller Generations/Prime-trilogy deluxes though.

 

Anyway to get these guys to not look knockneed?
