Went to Smyths in Colchester this afternoon. Tonnes of Wave 1 but 2 Rippersnappers nestled amongst them, now 1.

 

@Crankcase79 One more thing Columbo-style, mate, in course of having a faff with her today I found my copy of her had excess flashing on the edges of the slot to tab Primes or Enigmas in her combined torso chest which meant the nose split if you fully pushed 'em in. I had to get the ol' craft knife out for a wee shaving so if you get her watch out for that too!

 

If I pick her up I'll let you know if she has any of those issues. I have the 'fixed' starscream but he still won't tab together properly in jet mode, one panel connects and another pops out, although his robot mode has grown on me.

Tbh my priority now is getting blot and the wave 2 and 3 prime masters, still haven't found wave 2 at any asda in Leeds....yet...

 

Well don’t know if it’s still in there but there’s black convoy box the older MP prime model asked to have a look inside and instead there’s a 20th anniversary prime with no head

I highly recommend that blast off! I’ve got it from unite warriors Brutus and it’s a really fun figure

 

Okay here's a big deal. Trypticon on sale at Smyths for £50, just ordered one for click and collect at St. Helens, but at the time of this post he's available for home delivery. I have no idea where I will even put this big guy but for £50 felt it was too good a deal to pass on.

same way they don't stock Leaders anymore.

 

I always check the condition of what they're selling. You can get some bargains but they don't really check them over before they buy them. I think there still trying to sell that starscream they broke the wing off for £60.

Yeah I've had a couple TF's off them and never had a problem, the worse thing was I even asked to open the thing before buying it, to check all the accesories were included, but never took it out of the plastic shell or I'd of known straight away it was broken. Oh well nevermind, used the refunded money on Trypticon, just got back from picking mine up from St Helens Smyths and my god I forgot how big the box is.

 

So then... I've had a nightmare of a time trying to find the figures I want for a reasonable price from UK sources. I'm talking Power of the Primes Dinobots from Wave 2. Or well, basically ANYTHING from Wave 2. Has anybody seen any distributors who aren't basically asking for you for an arm and a leg? The markup I've seen for any of these figures is bloody mindless. I kinda want to avoid Amazon because most of the figures they have are already marked up now.

 

Quick FYI: If your local Smyths still has any Trypticon's left they've been reduced to just £50...

 

All PotP wave 2 deluxes minus dinobots in Smyths Chelmsford, also quite a lot of SS wave 1

 

Already reported this yesterday, most seem to be bought up already.

 

I finally decided to pick up the dinobots from wave 1 after weeks of back and forth. Good job I did because I love them!

I’m stupidly considering going back and buying starscream just to shift some stock and clear space for wave 2.

Seen the odd rippersnapper and one darkwing but no dinobots and no voyagers.

 

My local one (Bury) had three last night, one on the shelf and 2 in the back according to a staff member...

 

I should probably thank you. You've saved me a twenty minute drive to buy a figure I have no space for. Although maybe if I got rid of SDCC Fort Max...

 

Its bigger than I expected. I missed the cheap fort maxes a few months back but didn't wanna miss Trypticon.
