this is actually getting good. episodes are still too short. Also still having trouble getting over the faction symbol on Rodimus Cron / Unicronus.
Are they ever going to address why Primal has Prime's name in this show? It's kinda bothering me that wasn't the first thing to come up after he introduced himself as Optimus. Other than Megatron vaguely saying Primal reminds him of someone else we know he was talking about Prime but Primal isn't at all currious who Megatron was talking about and no one else is wandering why a guy who speant his entire life in a swamp looks so much like another guy with the same name? I know there's a lot going on right now but it shouldn't take long to go into this and they've had multiple opportunities to bring it up. The original Primal didn't even take this long to give a quick line of dialog explaining he took his name from Prime. Is it really so much more complicated here that they can't throw it in like they did in Beast Wars or is it that the writing is so bad they will never address it at all?
I enjoyed this one. Best lines out of the entire Primes Trilogy. I really hope Optimus Primal Turns into Optimal OPtimus in the next episodes or this would be a serious missed opportunity.
calling it now, megatron takes on megatronus and optimus primal gets the matrix and fights rodimus unicronus on equal footing
I'd forgive every bad thing about this series if at the very end, Megatron, after defeating all of their adversaries, saves the day and then blasts the shit out of everyone (Autobots, Primal) and makes them all slaves, laughing maniacally, saying, "Suckers! I'm Megatron! I'm fu@king evil! Honor and hope... What a weakness! Gets you every time!" Now THAT would be an ending!
I get the feeling they're trying to ship Primal and Windblade together. - Episode 5: She called him "Tall, dark, and . . . brooding" - Episode 6: She was the most distraught over Primal's decision to leave; in fact she may have been heartbroken. - Episode 7: Primal informs Windblade that it was her words that helped him decide to stay with the group. Her smile, to me, gave off a sense of relief as well as admiration. - Episode 8: When Megatronus is about to presumably kill Windblade, Primal rushes in shouting her name and gives a pretty savage beatdown to the villain. Also in this episode, they have a small spark to spark in the beginning; her showing genuine concern with how he's processing everything they've learned--his perspective on life broadening. It seems that she wouldn't mind showing him around the universe so he can see what he's missed over the years. I dunno; just my two cents . . . The Prime Wars trilogy hasn't had the deepest storytelling in the world.
But megatron hasn’t been turned into optimus prime. If you think this megatron acts anything like prime I have to wonder what transformers you’ve been watching for the last 30 or so years
Haven't read any of it. There have already been multiple hints that Megatron will sacrifice his life (like Optimus Prime) by the end of the series. (I don't have an encyclopedic memory; please don't ask me to quote where.) Then again, I'm not a fortune teller, so I could be wrong. Anyways, I'm glad you like the series. I prefer Megatron to be evil, that's all.
Grimlock: Are we there, yet? Windy: no Grimlock: Are we there, yet? Windy: No Grimlock: Are we there, yet? Windy: no! Grimlock: Are we there, yet? Windy: No! Grimlock: Are we there, yet? Windy: NO! …. …. …. Grimlock: Are we there, yet? all: NOOOOO!!!!
