\"Becuase I\'m Megatron and you\'ve pissed me off\" best line in the episode. Next episode will be very interesting.
I look forward to Megatron battling Megatonus; should be a tight battle. Although, I was surprised that Hot Rod was evolving more into Unicron. Overall, I enjoyed this episode.
The whole "resurrecting a loved one using a powerful laser and the souls of a whole bunch of people" reminds me of Pokemon X and Y.
So...Rodimus Cron was just their version of Nemesis Hot Rod from the Rodimus Unicronus toy? I can accept that. Megatron continues to be the best character , and Solus' design actually reminds me of Floro Dery's art for the G1 cartoon. I just get shades of Arcee and Elita when I look at her.
Tune in again next week to watch Optimus Primal STILL not transform in a show about things that transform!
Wow, for once they made me root for Megatron! "Because I'm Megatron... and you've pissed me off!" Definitely a badass moment. What surprises me is that Megatronus called Optimus Prime Megatron's friend. It both amuses and kind of makes sense. I mean, Megatron never saw Optimus as a friend, but Optimus still considered him one in some continuities. It's a nice touch.
Calling it now: Primal gets matrix, upgrades, and pulls a "Light our darkest hour" to finish this off. But since it's Machinima, it will be much less epic than when either Roddy or Optimus did it.
hot rod just suddenly upgraded to rodimus unicronus like that? why didnt he do that from the beginning? and look the size of rodimus cron, he\'s almost twice tall than hot rod, which makes him even taller than overlord maybe?
The toy. Power of the Prime evil Rodimus has two sizes in it. Right now my evil Rodimua is in his Unicornus mode because he is still in the package. But I have the option to take him out of the package put him his Hot Rod mode.
The tumblr link doesn't work for me. Tapping on the "play" button just shows another animated-gif style clip, from the show, in the background. From what I've read, I'm not missing out on anything, anyway.
I thought this episode was pretty cool, up until the end. I liked how when they were feeling the effects of Megatronus sapping the life out of their sparks, Perceptor showed JDF-bot and the other Dinobots(with Sludge's corpse), but I felt like they could have showed more characters from past two series. Although now that I'm researching who was in Combiner Wars and Titans Returns, I realize everyone else from those shows are dead or still in this show's main cast. Megatron: Primal, go introduce yourself to Megatronus. Primal: nods Ah, man! That was so badass! So DBZ! I was really expecting that this was it. This would be the moment where Primal gets to be badass and prove he's not a useless piece of shit in this continuity. He's gonna Optimal out and go toe-to-toe with Megatronus, one of the Original 13. But no, not really. He just kind of tackles him and pounds him in the face a few times. When Megatron waited for Solus Prime to coalesce, I thought OK now THIS is it! Megatron's going to ask her for help and she's going to magically forge Primal's Optimal armor out of thin air. Then I kind of expected Hasbro to troll us and give Megatron an upgraded form instead out of spite. "See! This is what you guys could have gotten if you weren't a bunch of furries!" But nope, she really didn't do anything and Megatron is the one left standing alone against his namesake Megatronus. And then Rodimus Unicronus, or Rodicron, or Rowdy Roddy Cronus, or whatever he's called, shows up. Alright! Now it's an all bad guy triple-threat match! I can't wait for the next episode... But wait. And this is what I really didn't like about this episode. The deluxe size Hot Rod robot just morphs into the full leader size Rodimus Prime. I've been anticipating some kind of epic awesome transformation sequence the first time one of these guys transforms. And what we get is arguably worse than the Beast Machines transformations. And this guy is supposed to be possessed by Unicron. Unicron! The guy who gave us this: Very disappointing. Not only that it's not Primal who get his upgrade first, if he's even going to get it all at this point. But more so that Rodimus just kind of grows a foot taller and grows a goatee. Nonetheless, I can't wait for the final 2 episodes!
- Me Grimlock not feel so good... P.S Continuous references to the "Infinity War", starting with the fact that Megatronus is very much like Thanos externally and by actions!
That's not an Infinity war reference, if he were collecting the actual Prime Masters and had time travel if he got Alpha Trion, sure, but this is just, not like Thanos in anyway.
