I took about 4 on a flight in the 80's to keep my bored 15 year old self occupied.

    it worked nicely .

I did back in the day, found a Alternator Jaguar Ravage at Walmart while on vacation in Florida, bought a couple, packed em in my luggage.

A ridiculous amount of my TF collection and new purchases have come on board planes with me in hand luggage if vintage and in checked luggage if new and boxed/secure. Many times over the last year and a half.

As for actually having something in-hand during the flight, the last one I remember was Legion Class RID Bisk :)

    All the best

Rarely. I try not to take anything on a plane that TSA can take away because they want it, err, I mean, "national security."

The exception was when I flew to Texas to visit my brother and his TRU had so much stuff that never shipped to PA. I stuffed both my suitcase and carry on with as much as I could fit.

I'v had some in my luggage since i bought them where i was so i am taking them home. Never took them out and played with them.

    Anticipated future threads:
Have you taken Transformers on a train?
Have you taken Transformers on a boat?
Have you taken them to church?
Have you taken them to the dentist?
    A funeral?
    Movie theater?
    Job interview?
Exit interview after being fired due to constant playing with toys?

MP-13 Soundwave. I was living in Europe, went back to visit family after Christmas and my father-in-law gave me MP-13. I didnn't want to risk theft or loss so I carried him in my backpack. I've also flown with Device Label Soundwave a lot, he was my first MP3 player, then a backup.

Music Label White Soundwave. USed it as a MP3 player (a clunky MP3 player) and everything.

My articles, photography, Transformers etc did come up prominently in my most recent (successful) series of job interviews for my current employer :)

Never on a flight to my destination. My return flight, quite a few times after finding something that hadn't seen release where I live. I actually think the last half of my Alternators collection was bought on work trips. Now that retail is basically dead and I preorder everything on-line now, I can't remember the last time I found a "souvenir" Transformer from a trip.

Not _into_ the interview but I do carry a few unopened figures in the car when I drive to one. It's only safe to open toys at a red light and the universe, in its ceaseless battle against me, ensures that I hit no red lights. No red lights, no late arrivals. Then again, most of those jobs...the universe still arguably won...

I mainly asked it from the standpoint if having them if going to cause me annoyance at the airport check points. I've settled on potp beachcomber, windcharger, and battletrap

Animated Lockdown back in June 2008. I actually bought it at a Walmart while visiting friends in San Antonio, Texas. Kept it in my carryon backpack on my return flight to PA.

Assuming this is a US flight, TSA says toy robots are fine to carry on. You're welcome.

I have found that power core combiners make excellent combiners for travel. I also like taking classics BB. I feel like his jet ski trailer gives off a vacation-y vibe.

I was going to visit my family in Texas once. My mother had gone down a few days before me. She called me up before I left and told me that my cousin (who was 6 or 7 at the time) wanted me to bring my 1st movie Leader Class Optimus Prime. I wasn't thrilled, but I did. He stayed in my carry on bag. Turns out, the only reason why he asked me to bring Prime was so my cousin could make sure he got the same figure as me. -insert face palm here-

When I was younger I did a lot of travelling with my parents. Once I brought my G1 Shockwave with me, and another time I actually brought G1 Megatron along
I was looking forward to playing with Megs on the plane, but my mom made me put it in the checked baggage. At the time, I was so young I didn't understand why ;)

My dad would often bring TFs back for me when he was away on business trips.

Twice I've brought Botcon purchases back with me on a plane. I bought a G1 Trypticon that took up almost an entire small suitcase by himself, and I had to pack him in there with the other stuff I bought...let's just say my Botcon '99 Sandstorm got a couple dents in its box :D

Would you take them on a plane?
Would you take them on a train?
Would you take them on a boat?
Would you take them with a goat?
Would you take them in a car?
Take them, take them, you'll go far!
    :D

During my freshman year of college after visiting my folks for spring break, I stuffed my backpack with figures to fly with. No problems really.
