Brawny is pretty solid. Make sure you get the accessories. The rocket launcher is epic.

 

By rocket launcher do you mean Megatron's fusion cannon?

 

I'd sell my Brawny (v1) and Outland (or whatever the feck he's called) as a set for the original price.

 

It's not just me that thinks that then.

I reckon at least a bit more paint would've helped cover for that.

The plastic isn't too bad. It's not scary flexy. I found the legs a bit unnecessarily foldy. The chest on my V2 Brawny needed a bit of modification to get the second tab to sit nicely. Now, it's solid.

 

Compared to VooDoo’s Animus and Salus (who I love), Brawny v2 is plenty solid.
He seems just as solid as MP Bumblebee. Maybe even more so.

I just got Brawny and is having exactly the same problem, the top tabs of the side of the chest won't tab in, not enough space. Is there a fix?

 

Nevermind, I ended up pulling on the grill and there was a little of play, and that created enough space for the sides of the chest to tab in.

 

There can be a bit of play, but if there isn't, you need to take an Exacto blade to the part of the grill that folds into the left arrow in the picture, to allow the tab to sit inside. I had to this on both sides, Nice and snug fit, and it doesn't affect the alt mode.

 

Managed to get myself a V2 and am having what sounds like a unique issue but not a game wrecker. The hinge that is on his hood and allows the roof line to flip up and move out of the way for transformation won't budge and out of fear of breaking something I'm not forcing it. I untabbed everything around it and manage to do the full transformation though. While transforming him into bot mode and back again I looked into the hinge but cannot see what the issue is. It's almost like a faux hinge. I can see that it should be there but cannot see any of the working of the hinge.

Anyone run into this? I mean I got him into and out of bot mode so I can do it around it but...it's weird feeling. I paid secondary market prices for him. He was sealed. I kind of regretted spending so much but really wanted BadCube's Brawn and BadCube sounded like another reissue is not in their plans. It just feels weird though. Like I need to be uber careful with flexing that hinge the slightest bit. Not because it's fragile feeling but because I paid too damn much. Ya know?

 

My Brawny has super floppy legs. He can barely stand upright without leaning on something. I think it’s a V2 but I’m not sure. Very disappointed and will be looking to swap it out when there’s a suitable replacement available.
