Why? And not to come off rude, but why not offer some of us locals a chance to purchase them from you before returning them?
If anyone is still looking for studio Blackout or Grimlock Target at McClintock and Baseline in Tempe has at least 3 of each There is also 1 potp Optimus, first time I've actually seen him on shelves (I got him with the Wave 2 Leaders from The Chosen Prime, considering how Target/Walmart have failed it was a good decision)
I bought Elita One and Hungurrr for full price at Walmart awhile back. Then I found and bought them at Target again last week. This time I had a $25 coupon (I purchased other toys totaling $100) so I essentially got them for 25% off. That's why I returned the Walmart ones. I recall someone posting that they were looking for Hungurrr, so I thought I was being helpful by posting that I just returned one. I'm not against offering something up for purchase here but it does involve more time (setting up a time/meeting place). My Walmart receipt was getting pretty close to 90 days old so I wanted to make sure I could get my money back. I went back the next day and Hungurr was still on the shelf but as of today he was gone.
Walmart 35thAve/Southern- Picked up wave 2 Prime Masters Alchemist and Alpha Trion, left 1 or 2 of each on the pegs.
Walmart on Lake pleasant and Deer valley has wave 2 prime masters, there were three sets after I left this morning.
target @ old Spanish trail / Harrison as of June 15th pm hours one POTP swoop and one POTP sludge one studio series blackout rest POTP was wave one or crap from Tf rid
You may have seen that target is restocking, we'll dont get your hopes up, they are restocking wave 1, this is upsetting ,WTF Target, WTF Hasbro
Really! Wave 1 again. I'm just saving myself the hassle from now on and pre ordering. I'm glad I passed on the terrocons because I'd be pissed right now.
I'm really confuse here, I don't understand the distribution here, we already had a restock of wave 1 and now another one, we only had 1 short packed wave 2 so most people never even smelled wave 2, WTF is the strategy here? Is this how they plan to stretch POTP til Nov-December? WTF
I learned this during Titans Return's time frame, but I can't imagine it has changed though I haven't reconfirmed any of this recently. Target's system is very simplistic. They only have them sorted by size class (price point). The store can order say Deluxe figures, but there is no way to specify which Deluxe figures so it could end up being any ones. It is even worse on Target.com. If they have ANY ONE Deluxe figure in stock at a store it will say that EVERY Deluxe figure, going back YEARS (into Generations when I looked, pre-CW) is in stock at the store. They have basically made the whole system into "blind box" distribution. Of course I have no idea how much of Wave 1 their warehouses got compared to Wave 2. For all I know they have dozens to hundreds of cases of Wave 2 that simply isn't being sent out because they are just grabbing the oldest (seems most likely to me but no knowledge there) case of said price point and when the next series (War for Cybertron right?) comes out they will all be shipped to discount stores like Ross or Marshalls.
The Walmart on the NE corner of Warner and Alma School in Chandler has on Wave 2 Alpha Trion (Landmine?) left. I hid it behind a couple of Wave 1's Vector Primes (Metalhawk) on the peg. They also have the Wave 2 Legends if anyone is looking. I saw 1 Tailgate, 1 of the BattleTrap helicopter and at least 3 of the BattleTrap truck.
OK guys, I've been out hunting, Target on Spectrum got in a restock, guess which wave?..........wave 1, yep, they got in a Leader Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime, got damn it, why do all of these stores keep restocking wave 1? I've never even seen wave 2 ! and wave 3 should be around the corner AND WFC should be showing up around December - January 2019 time frame so wtf will happen with POTP wave 4 (I know repacks and Novastar)? WTF Target? WTF Hasbro? I have my preorder in for Optimal but I'd rather NOT pay $70 for a $44.99 figure, and I'd also rather NOT pay $22.99-32.99 for a $16.99 figure.
