They don't have to be, just sell them from HTS. If they're not in charge of HTS shame on them.

Well I went ahead and did so, didn't realize they were still available (I rarely buy my figures online, funny enough that's how I will have bought all of the terrorcons). Thanks for the heads up.

Through a combination of pre-ordering online, local fan groups, and random dumb luck at retail, I have been able to get all of Wave 2 that I want other than the two Titan Masters and Hun-Grrr. I made a pre-order for the Takara version of Hun-Grrr just in case I cannot find him anywhere else. The only Wave 2 figure I paid secondary prices on was Blackwing, and $22 shipped wasn't too bad.

For Wave 3, I pre-ordered the 3 Deluxe Terrorcons, both Legends and the 3 Titan Masters from TF Source. Not wasting my time trying to find them at retail this time around.

People keep saying that like that's a "get out of jail free" card.

I don't care who's responsible. When Hasbro characterizes the lack of Wave 2 thus far as having "sold out," they make it sound like consumers have loved these figures so much that they've been buying them up in huge numbers. Since consumers have by and large been entirely unable to find these figures, this is misleading in the extreme, and Hasbro needs to be called out on it. Not praised for promising that more shipments are to come.

Both of my sons want Hun gurrr.

    I have never seen one.

If you think debating distribution and global classism/ social economic subtleties is hard online try telling it to a sad 3 and 7 year old who just want the figure they have been watching reviews of that turns into a cool monster. They are both really into monsters right now.

Maybe not, but there was not enough produced figures. Lots of blame to go around on any side. (Outside us, the consumers)

There's a distribution system involved in getting product from the manufacturer to the consumer. Some (or multiple) parts of this system failed. Those in charge need to evaluate what went wrong and how it can be fixed now, and what steps need to be taken to avoid it in the future.

The question is... WILL Hasbro do this?

It is certainly in Hasbros best interest to improve it.

Yeah, this is reassuring. The problem that retail has already clogged their shelves with wave one. If they re-release wave two, then wave three will suffer, assuming either one sees a peg before Christmas. And since Amazon likes to price their items based on demand, this announcement is meaningless. Hasbro cannot even keep their own online store stocked with product, and they think that people will take their word when they claim they will have these in the hands of the customers?

Yeah, and the BB movie line is coming soon too. No room for Generations. Especially when they are gearing up for fucking the customer in 2019 with new price points and size classes.

No pressure from me at this point....

If they keep this lackluster crap up next year, I'll just take that $900.00 average I've put on TF toys and comics and use it as a down payment on a new car or something...

I have to say I lucked out in getting the PTOP voyager wave 2 at my local Target a few months ago, and just grabbing wave 2 deluxes off of Amazon at MRSP price as well...

And that prevents them from shipping to online shops that _are_ ordering how?

Not really. BBTS and friends have been waiting for stock for months while Hasbro has sat on its hands. That's entirely on Hasbro.

Had me until that last line. You do know that scalpers buy from shelves, right? And if there aren't any on shelves, that might be a bit of a problem for scalpers? Unless you're calling anybody with a distribution account or importing from Asia and not matching Ollies super duper clearance funtime4u prices a scalper...

Holy cow. If people think Hasbro's lies are bad, wait until they get a load of Embarrassment Earth. I would _not_ rely on them if I were you.

Yep, lots of shelf room for wave two. At least yours has Grimlocks. All of my local retailers are swimming in Starscreams.....that no one asked for and no one will buy thanks to some genius in Hasbro's upper management.
