    Seeing as how 2005 celebrated Animated's 10th anniversary earlier this year, I feel that 2005 should represent that series and toy line with its Hall of Fame nomination.

    There are good choices to be had amongst the Animated cast; some have already been mentioned (Bulkhead and Lockdown). Others are variations on existing Transformers characters/tropes/archetypes, so they don't count. One could argue that Animated fleshed out some of these characters, like Blitzwing and Swindle, or gave us interesting new takes, like Arcee, Jazz, and Wreck-Gar, but I'm not sure they were different enough. And Animated gave us new characters like Lugnut (GLORIOUS!!!), the aforementioned Lockdown, and much-beloved Sentinel Prime, and I'd love to see all three in the Hall of Fame someday.

    But no, this year should be the year of Prowl. Yes, there's already a bot in the Hall of Fame named Prowl, but there's no mistaking Animated Prowl and G1/IDW Prowl, is there? One Prowl is analytical, logical, and, well, kinda a dick. The other is...well, OK, he can also be a dick...but he has some serious character development. He is fascinated by the flora and fauna of Earth. He's meditative. He's a martial artist. Over time he learns how to deal with his anger and learns how to be a friend and colleague. And, in the end,
    he sacrifices himself for the good of all.

    In conclusion...

    Vote Animated Prowl for Hall of Fame 2018.
