Oh, I'm completely aware of this. Everything you have listed here is well possible, and much much more. But since we do not know what the future holds for us, what marvels, dangers, bizarre things, etc. are waiting for us out there in this infinite universe, we (or better, our descendants) have to take things (whatever that might be) as they come, whether we like it or not.

Yeah, sorry... But I prefer to wait for things that have a chance of happening.

It's not like I'll live long enough to ever see an interstellar travel realised, either way.

But certain things have a chance of happening as big as is a chance of random atoms spontaneously forming a second Tower of Eiffel.

Which is technically possible, just not very likely to ever be...

As for me; I'm open to all sorts of possible and impossible things that are out there. And hey, you never know ... If there is something like rebirth, we still have the chance to be there.

Blologically impossible but psychologically? Some theorise that you can only get an advanced society using the psychological traits of humans.

If tarantulas work was used basically so Thundercracker could have sex with Marissa I think he’d say it was good for the specimen

TBH, I feel like it's too much anthropocentrism in this theory. Our traits come from our biology, mostly.

But then, chances are we wouldn't be even able to tell alien society as advanced or not just because of lack of understanding. Well, a high technology level would be giving it away. But a hypothetical hive mind or anything else using technology also could be possible.

Shocking twist - Thundercracker instead uses the Chimeracon tech so he can be with his true love: Buster.

I've always wanted a transformers universe where the robots really are alien, they have trouble relating to and communicating with humans. Probably tough to get 12 years of comics out of that thought.

But they are aliens. They come from another planet and we humans are aliens to them too.

True. As a kid I always liked the extremely human characterizations on the tech specs but hated the overreaching stuff like "on our planet we have razorsnakes and oil cake!"

Hopefully the razorsnakes aren't slipped in the oil cakes. :rip

TC oughtta put that in his next book or screenplay or whatever. Urban Legends of Cybertron.

Oh! It has gotta be Swindle selling that shit. Maybe he can offer some to TC? Guaranteed to have femmes come flocking to you at the speed of light. Then he and Melissa won't hafta worry about romantic tension. :D

Huh. Someone removed my post and apparently post under it, without any notification, or warning if I broke some rule.

The close relationship that developed between thunder cracker and marissa reminded me of the relationship (albeit disturbing,) one that happened in Sunbow with arcee and Daniel.

Not that they are similar, they aren't but at the same showed a closeness that developed over time.

I remember as a kid feeling a bit uncomfortable how arcee and daniel was written. I don't feel that with tc and marissa but a connection does exist.

Incidentally I don't think tc will die,(or buster) and I doubt fairborn will either.

Funnily enough, I've been mentally reading Thundercracker's lines in Michael Dobson's Starscream voice.
