Unlike Hans Zimmer who swore never to touch superhero movies again because it cost him 10 years of his life. To each their own.

Man, I really hope Steve is there for us in the future. I can’t express how much he’s affected my life. I know I’m in the minority among many long time fans, but I was introduced to the franchise through the movies when I was pretty young. What really sets off my nostalgia isn’t the visual effects or even Peter Cullen’s voice (as great as they are). It’s the stunningly beautiful music that Steve Jablonsky composed, mainly “Autobots.” I know the general consensus is that “Arrival to Earth” is the best music, but “Autobots” really gives that Transformers vibe (though “Arrival” is a close second). I don’t normally listen to movie scores of anything (more of a 70s rock guy myself), but Steve Jablonsky’s music is on my music playlist (certainly different from the rest on there). So thank you for everything, Steve. I’ll watch any movie you compose the score for, even if that’s the only reason.

Steve’s music was one of the only good things in the movies. It’s a shame he won’t be around anymore :(

Steve’s scores have been impeccable, and there are definitely some pieces that will forever be part of this entire franchise; Arrival to Earth definitely transcends the Bay films for me, personally. And a lot of them already invoke nostalgia in me when I hear them, which is crazy to think about.

This guy is up there with Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Alan Silvestri for sure. Thanks for all the great memories, and beautiful and profound music, Steve. Wish him the best of luck in the future, and also welcome to the new composer! I’m sure he’ll be great too and deliver a new sense of magic and heart that the Bumblebee movie seems to focus on

Shame Steve won't be composing Bumblebee's score. Really enjoyed his work in the past Bay movies and his music definitely was one of the highlights (especially in what were otherwise some of the more lackluster TF films like ROTF and AOE; haven't really sat down and listened to TLK's tracks but will have to do that soon).

The Arrival, Soccent Attack, Scorponok's theme, Optimus Prime's theme, Sentinel Prime's theme, Lockdown's theme, and the DOTM final battle themes for Chicago are some of my favorites.

Wishing him good fortune on his future endeavors!

I’m sure most of you know the whole point of the Bumblebee movie is to do something completely different from the Bay films.

Yeah, to make a cute & cuddly Transformers movie for little girls.

I hope whoever does it still uses some variation of the bumblebee theme from first movie.

And then he went off to score Dark Phoenix.

Also I thought it was confirmed that Dario Marianelli would do the score and not Jablonsky.

A good music is at least 50% of the total success of a film (or a whole saga)... and Steve Jablonsky\'s music is without a doubt, one of the most positive sides (which will certainly remain more in memory) of the saga Transformers by Michael Bay!
