You forgot to transform the car parts in his lower legs.

 

Apologies is this is answered. I just got this guy. I think I have him transformed right but is there something that is suppose to lock the shoulders into place? When I move the arms, the shoulder rotates around.

 

Painted all the blue a metallic purple.

I suppose I could have done a darker purple first, then dry brush metallic over that but I like this much better as it is now.

 

The only thing I know regarding that is that once the shoulders are fully rotated upwards, the hood should fold over the top of the door window hinges on his back and tab into 2 slots. There are 2 tabs under the hood for each slot.

 

Looks amazing. Even more menacing. Did you do something with the dead.

 

Thanks! Besides adding purple over the blue above his brow, I just used an app called Picsart to add red glows for his eyes.

 

Yeah I thought it looked to great. It’d be hard to do but it could look amazing.

So a week ago I decided to dip a toe into the MPM line with a MPM Bumblebee KO. He's taking an entire month to arrive, so I bought a KO Barricade in the meantime and he's great. It's crazy how much more accurate these toys become when budget becomes less of a barrier. The wheel-wrists, frowny-faced bumper, and how his tiny feet keep him upright somehow all make him worth the extra cost over his eventual Studio Series version.

I've been hesitant with buying MPM toys because of their cost but the amount of detail and astonishing vehicle and robot mode accuracy makes them soooo worth it. Plus, most times, if ya wait a couple of months there'll be a KO version with better paint and a lower price coming out. xD

 

They're so awesome but I think I like MPM Barricade more.

 

I realize this is a old, but thanks a bunch! I just got my BMB "Bottle Neck" and could not figure out why he would not stay tabbed together. Thought I just had a bad tab. You saved it! Thanks!

 

Guys, I just figured out that if you take a StarWars lego battle droid and spray him sliver, he makes a damn good Frenzy. He even looks in scale

 

Going to detail these pieces up more, but test fitting worked out well!
Also, I was today years old when I learned about the hand wheel split..
