My IT came yesterday and I love it. Constantly messing with it.

 

I own the i t, t h I own the it, thf, and mag 10 and the build quality on the mag 10 is by far the worst. It's still a beautiful Deco on a great sculpt so it's still displays wonderfully, but by no means is it equal to either of the other options as an actual toy. If you like the mag 10 Aesthetics better than I tease, the thf is a good trade-off. I actually plan to swap the mag 10 out with it and I decided to leave it where it was and put the mag 10 in its own place (bumping Despotron out the room)

 

Wouldn't a clear purple version be a better choice like in the 86 movie?

Egads! Look, I'm not gonna go into the MP-36+ toy version Megatron thread to say this, cause that's just rude, but holy hell of that thing is hideously ugly. I gagged a bit. It's so awful and holy hell am I glad that the Magten version exists. I just wanted a normal silver Megatron with some red on the inside leg, and if that MP-36+ monstrosity was my only silver option, that would suck balls.

I guess I'm also lucky tha my pretty silver Magten is perfectly solid and without flaw. I heard thatguyace got a real stinker. But I love mine. It's faboo.

 

IT should create a version of the TTs + Megs with all the original accessories included plus whatever they did for it not to scratch, just to troll them  

 

I got my IT Megatron today. It's a great figure. The only issue I had was some bad black paint on one of the faces. I don't have the real version to compare it to, but this one is top notch. I was going to just stick with Apollyon, but I'm really glad now that I didn't.

 

The IT version is MUCH better quality than Apollyon. You chose well.

 

Agreed. I sold my Apollyon, and received almost exactly enough to pay for my IT Megs.
Definitely came out ahead!

I just hope they downright clone MP36+, I paid enough for the original I don't want to pay the same again for a repaint, especially since the MP Hot Rod chrome debacle....

 

Seeing as the head was cloned way before MP-36+ was news, I would say that is a safe bet.

 

Had a coupon for 15 euros off with a purchase above 30. Spend a bit of time trying to decide what to do with it, then went in on IT Megatron. Soooo glad I did. Holy shit if it's not the single best Masterpiece Transformer I own. It just does everything perfectly, and the little additions that IT made just make all the more impressive. Plus after trying the transformation, I have no idea how anyone with the official can go through that and not suffer a major panic attack.   Ingenious design but holy shit at all the parts that rub or even scrape. Should have picked this up way sooner, even at the original price this is a steal, now I feel almost guilty for getting something with this much quality for like 55 bucks.  

Now I just need to find a clear backing cartoon symbol. Thought for sure Reprolabels offered that, but nope, no luck there.

Anyone actually own the clear one yet? It’s tempting me for fully stupid reasons.

 

Mine is on the way. I didn't think I was getting one either but the guy is just so iconic.

 

Funny. I must have got an almost perfect one because mine his no issues that i can spot so far...
other than the gun barrel not being able to peg into anything when in botmode, it's kinda just swaying around on a loose hinge thingy.

But, I'll get a metallic IT if one ever comes out.

Just got it the other day and haven't done much with it yet. Just wanted to see how the label would look on it.
But I will say, that of all the KO Mp36 out there, the parts that make his backpack are the sturdiest of them all, even more solid than the IT version.
He does not need any cover to hold them in place and they don't move when you shake him.
That said, I haven't transformed him yet so I don't know how much movement will show up once it is transformed a few times.

But so far, he looks much better in hand, except his face just looks really stupid since it's a transparent color !!
Worth the money if your a Megs fan.
