Speaking their comic/canon...when will we see more of it? I really liked where it was headed. Especially the Mad Max Ultra Magnus. Also, Rodimus was in the comic as well so hopefully that would give us a idea in future comics if we will see a Cross Dimensions Rodimus/Rodimus Prime.

The one on the left actually looks better than the right. That's just sad.

That entire comic line was messed up on so many levels. That and infestation.

That's not Rioter's head (look closely, those side 'vents' are different) but it could still be an upgraded Despotron, we'll have to wait and see.

So far all the CD figures have had the same type of alt mode as their classic G1 counterparts. Their Megatron even transforms into a gun, perhaps the most impractical alt mode from the original line. There was pretty much zero chance that Galvatron would be anything other than a tripod-mounted cannon. Though I do agree that this guy's alt mode looks rather lackluster. But then I've never been much of a fan of the cannon alt mode.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I see a few posts thinking that his bulk will 'get in his own way', but it looks like he has the same swing joint in his shoulders as Striker Manus, some deep, possibly double-jointed elbows, and enough clearance on the back of his legs to get at least a 90-degree knee bend. Obviously we can't really make out the hip joints, but I don't know why they wouldn't be the same as Striker and Rioter, only with a lot more hip skirt.

Overall I think the bot mode looks great. The alt mode... less so. It especially looks off in terms of dimensions, appearing to be much longer and thinner, which I think is contributing to the more, er, 'phallic' look. But as I said, I've never cared for the cannon alt mode, so it's not such a big factor for me.

Yes, the vents are different, in addition to the spikes, but instead of appearing like a crown or a crest on a helmet, it still very much looks like Rioter's helmet (bucket head!) with a few additions/changes. Not nearly so dramatic a difference as between G1 Megatron and Galvatron. I can only speculate at this point (and I rarely do that) but that and the name just seems to imply that this will be an upgraded form for Rioter Despotron in the canon.

I also miss the pack-in comics and hope they continue that. I am actually shocked that we haven't seen more of their Seekers and Ultra Maximus (and Bumblebee, ugh) seeing as they were the first previewed, unless they got poor feedback for the designs (perhaps fans didn't like that the seekers had Dinobot trophies, and that UM design could be very polarizing).

I really liked them creating their own fictional story branching off from what appeared to be standard Transformers mythos. It gave this line more character and something the fans could build their own head-canon from, justifying getting these unique designs for collectors that already had versions of these characters. Hopefully they will pick that back up (and no, not online comics, blech!).

I agree. I was about to give up collecting, Cross Dimensions comic was refreshing then once I got Striker in hand, I was reignited again. I couldn't wait to see more.(still can't wait to see more). I'm ok with a online comic if that is the only way we can get it due to costs. As long as they at least give decent updates like twice a year or post new pages as teasers for soon to be released figures that are featured in the story.

Side note: I still want to see more of the Shattered Glass Quantron comic and figures too, Maketoys if you are reading this.

Worth noting that he seems to have the same style of hand as Thunder Manus, with two little holes to take pressure off the mushroom peg rather than one like Striker Manus and Rioter Despotron have. Seems like he might be a larger figure than those two.

The seekers were awesome! I've been waiting since 2010 for some good CHUG Seekers and they hinted on a troop builder with Pursuer. The dinobot armor was just icing on the cake. I LOVED ALL OF IT! I would have bought ten of Pursuer if they come out like I think they will. I hope MT isn't burned out on seekers after their MP versions.

His head is definitely near-identical to Rioter’s with some slight differences. So I’m assuming in their canon this is an upgraded/reformatted Rioter and not a separate character like in IDW?

Reminds me a lot of the ZZ Gundam.

I'm less impressed than I was with the initial reveal, but still interested The cannon may look better when viewed from a different angle.

Galvatron is a character that I really couldn't careless about his alt mode. Tripod gun that looks like a dildo? Yep that seems accurate to me. Robot looks amazing and I'm sure in hand I'll love him as much as all the other Cross Dimension figures.
