Meh, I would agree if this were Bay but the playing field is definitely different this time around. We've had nameslaps in the past but I doubt we'll see something like that extreme again as Hasbro has been getting a strong hold of the brand. Plus, they're definitely trying to go for an actual classic Seeker look.

 

Yeah, that's true. That's why I'm not so certain he should definitively be called Starscream. I think it's silly that TFWiki is listing him as Starscream (Unless they know something we don't?).

If anything, I'd much rather this Seeker not be Starscream. This fandom wants enough stuff rehashed as is. We already have in this trailer and released info a direct 2007 quote, Sector 7, another "Boy" and his car scenario, Barricade, etc. We don't need more rehashes from G1/2007. Let's please do something differently. Let another Decepticon besides Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, or Shockwave get a little focus.

 

Yeah I don’t really care what that Seeker name is. I do care about whether or not he’s going to be a credible antagonist and possess legible threat or not. If he’s going to be another Con who got wasted by Bee in less than 10 seconds (or human, pls no) and his dialogue only consist of random quips and other nonsense, well it doesn’t matter if his name is Starscream or Ramjet, it’s just another useless Con to add to the roster.

 

He's still Starscream even they called him Ramjet. You know it, I know it, even the wives know it.

 

Don't you just wish that an individual who worked with the [Bumblebee] movie be invited in here to clarify ONCE AND FOR ALL that that jet transformer is STARSCREAM and not RAMJET... or the other way around (whichever floats your boat).

As someone who hates the Bay films and Bayformers in general, I can't believe I'm saying this, but......man, I cannot WAIT to see this. It looks like it has...ah, what is it? Um....oh yeah......A HEART AND A SOUL. I'm rooting for this movie to succeed, it looks like they finally did it. A GOOD Transformers film! John Cena was right!

I think the competition in December will be Aquaman and BB.
I don't know about Mary Poppins really.
But after checking some info like the casting, I think I will not wonder if Mary Poppins could race on between #1 and #2 spot.

I've watched some Disney's live action depiction of the fantasy books and it's a Hit or Miss for me.
While I didn't like Cinderella (thanks Cate Blanchet for carrying the film. Yeah the lead actors are weak for me) because they just translated the old movie cartoon in live action.
Malefiscent on other hand was more touching than Cinderella due to the Jolie's performance and the true theme of the story as oppose to the "Romantic Narrative" of the previous iterations.

Knowing the "Big Mouse" and their marketing arms, well BB and Aquaman might be trouble.
But this is better than having a Star Wars film on it. For sure, if there's a slotted SW film its Big Trouble for BB and Aquaman compared to Mary Poppins.

 

The more I watch this trailer, the more I fall in love with it! It looks like pretty much the Transformers movie I've been waiting for forever.

 

Here's my version of the seekers

 

For me, it's all about the cockpit. Nitro Zeus thankfully has a decent cockpit size so he looks right next to other car formers. The Armada seekers are roughly the size of Nitro's alt mode but the cockpit is so small that it really hurts the immersion for them.

Well, that's a good way to redeco "Seeker" into Thundercracker and Skywarp respectfully. Unless they go full on G1 Plane Deco.

Though, if they use the deco, they would replace the Playboy Logo with a Decepticon one.

 

Unless the Seeker is frequently seen wearing a metal smoking jacket and smoking a pipe, and surrounded by dozens of gorgeous blonde Bunnies...which, come to think of it, would actually be pretty awesome.

The 3 trio posted above were Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp? I thought they were Ramjet, Dirge, and Slipstream.
