It feels like a movie the world needs right now just like Christopher Robin....It has so much heart and positivity

Is Bumblebee's height confirmed anywhere btw? He looks significantly smaller to me? Like before I'm pretty sure he was around 16'-18' but now I can't imagine, that if he can stand upright in that car garage, that he's any taller than like eleven feet. Google tells me that the average height for a car garage is eight feet.

 

Nope, the thumbnail looks clickbaity enough already.

I HATE Bayformers. Liked the first one, can't stand the others, never saw Last Knight.

Friends passed the trailer along this morning and I kinda liked it's vibe, (G1 inspired Starscream?! Please be so!) but of course my cynicism keeps me in check. Checked the trailer again and wanted a better shot of Starscream.

He's an F-4 Phantom. And I go back to loathe mode.

 

 

Interesting that Bumblebee changes his alt-mode to a more rugged jeep-type at some point. Probably his way of 'suiting up' for the big ol' battles sure to come.

 

Could be a disguise too so he can infiltrate S7 or something. Or maybe it's a flashback.

Anyway, another interesting thing I noticed. When Bumblebee is scared of Charlie, he shields his neck. Maybe unintentional.

I’m not gonna lie, I almost teared up a bit watching the trailer because for the FIRST time in the live action history of this franchise I felt like I was watching something that was GOOD.

Not something that appealed to my boyhood fantasies of giant robots causing chaos and destruction, not something that appealed to my fanboy fantasies of seeing my favorite characters on screen regardless of how important they are to the plot, and not something that was edited together well to evoke hype from a blockbuster hungry audience, but a trailer for an honest to god GOOD movie that just happened to have Transformers in it.

Guys if this movie turns out to be good I might cry in the theaters. I have loved this franchise for almost ten years now and I am so fucking happy to see that it might finally get a proper live action treatment with love and care and honest to god skill and respect for the craft and art of filmmaking behind it. Something that’s truly inspired with a need to tell a good story, not make money or sell toys.

Fingers crossed.

 

This has to be the cutest Transformers trailer ever. Looks really good.

I don't minded him being a Phantom. It's a smaller jet so he will have a smaller robot mode (sorta like Bumblebee). Remember the first movie Starscream's "dorito" shape was so that his massive F-22 altmode didn't result in a towering giant.

 

Actually based on what I’ve read so far from other posters who got their info from reliable sources, the Jeep alt mode could be in the beginning of the movie. Not long after, Bee gets attacked by Cons and it was at this time he’d scan a VW as his new alt mode.

 

Looks decent, Too bad it ain`t exactly going to save current TF movie universe.
