Feel dumb asking this, but has there ever been an Amazon exclusive Transformer before? How far in advance do they usually announce when it will be released for purchase? After spending so much time trying to locate a reasonably priced Grotusque on the aftermarket, I'm paranoid about missing these exclusives.

I'm fairly new to transformer collecting, used to comic collecting where I could just tell my lcs what I want & it would magically appear on Wednesday ha ha.

 

You could get an extra Bomb-Burst when it comes out and paint it black to give Onyx an Onyx Primal homage. Just a thought.

 

Quite honestly , and I talked about this on Reddit was that Onyx could be made into Carnivac. Basically retool and repaint the Titan-Master Fangry accessory to make it look like Carnivac's shell. As for the three we aren't getting (potentially) , Prima could be Grand Maximus , Nexus could be Sky High and Amalgamous one of the Pretender Vehicles.

It just occurred to me May passed this year without these supposed May Mayhem bois even being revealed.

Yes, they've had some in the past. Depending on what it is it either goes real fast or real slow (such as G2 Fall of Cybertron Bruticus), but on this set of items I would expect them to go quick.

As other people have been saying here, there was never any May Mayhem offering announced for this year. That was just wishful thinking by fans.

Well, sounds like I was wrong about it being a Rippersnapper repaint. Kinda glad about that to be honest, lol. I want my monster bots to share the same gimmick!

Looking forward to the final figure. But then I need to get G1s and MPs to fit into where I want my collection to be... Talk about 1st world problems, lol.
