Haven't even saw Wave 2 deluxes here in Salem. Although I was able to snag Elita-1 and Hun-garr at a very rare instance. Even Screamer and Grimlock were becoming shelf warmers now.
I haven't seen anything but Wave 1 deluxes, voyagers, and titan masters at Mall 205 and Jantzen Beach Targets the last few days. The Delta Park Walmart has wave 1 deluxes. I still need the deluxe Dinos from wave two. Goddamn what a pain in the ass line to get.
I gave up completely a couple months ago and got pretty much all of Wave 2 from entertainment earth (Blackwing arriving today and Hun-grr on Saturday!). They always have a free shipping code for any order over $99 every quarter, and they ship things as they arrive. The two dinobots I was lucky to get from Amazon during that brief window in April when it they had them in stock for retail price. Elita-1 I passed, and I underestimated that wave 2 Prime Masters was going to peg warm/saturate by now at least, so still on the look out for them. As soon as wave three hasbro deluxes go up anywhere, you be your sweet bum I'm pre-ordering them.
Ages Three and Up has the three wave 3 deluxe Hasbro POTP Terrorcons up for pre-order, 59.95 plus 9.99 shipping, not sure how long that has been there, but tfsource and bbts don't seem to have them yet.
Prices for PotP Infernos are gradually dropping on eBay. Seems like Cali and other states have plenty to go around, they just haven't trickled up here yet.
Targets in my area have been pegbare when it comes to TFs as well. This has started up when the Studio Series came out and the only thing I really see rotating are the Studio Series deluxes and sometimes Voyagers. I think I saw a Leader Grimlock once. About a month or 2 ago, I at least saw PotP wave 2 Legends rotating around, but I can't think of the last time I've seen PotP Deluxes. Also I've never seen wave 2 Prime Masters or whatever they're called.
And you would think with toys going under that they would want to take advantage of getting in more toys to sell...
Hasbro’s distribution is to blame. They pushed their schedule back because of the Bumblebee movie getting pushed to December so all they toys we are supposed to get are sitting in their warehouses until it’s time on on their schedule for new toys
marketing screwed the pooch then, unless other areas are seeing a good healthy intake of figures. I went to the Clackamas & Lancaster TRU just to see what if anything was left....and I wasn't surprised that they were fairly cleaned out but even still there was a trickle of TLK presence still there. Amazon though seems to be the winning company as they're advertising Wave 3 figures by the end of this week to complete combiners like Abominus. I'd of set them up for pre-order but 37 bucks is to much....and that scares me. With places like TRU going under and many stores not increasing stock to gain a better footing, other online retailers are marking up their figure prices on hot items to get more profit.
Just ordered Studio Series Brawl on Amazon for 29.99, sold by Amazon and not third party Amazholes. Hoping for Megatron but looks like it's still over priced third party sellers. Will just be checking Amazon randomly for him and wave 3 potp deluxes throughout the week. Edit: Just got Megatron as well for 29.99, had to click on see other sellers to get the one being sold by Amazon directly. Clicking on Lockdown repeatedly now, it's on lockdown... lol
Found quite a bit of studio series figured at wilsonville target back on Friday. Picked up the only POTP grimlock they had so now officially done with dinobots. Ended up ordering a couple figures online cause no one else is stocking much of anything and that’s causing me to see prices soaring.
Looks like the Power of the Primes PRIME MASTERS Wave 2 are hitting the shelves locally. I found them at the Tigard Walmart. They had a case on the pegs I picked up 2 sets one for me and another board member. I left 2 more sets on the pegs.. hopefully wave 2 deluxes, wave 3 deluxes and inferno starts showing up soon. That’s unfortunate but Finnegan’s shouldn’t be looked at as a reliable source of “New” stuff. Only thing of interest I saw there was an Octane about a month ago.
