Went and made today a fun day as I did a double movie viewing at the local theater today seeing both Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2. Then went out for dinner at a restaurant nearby before finally searching the nearby Target and Wal-Mart for any new toys. Nothing new to report.
Do we have 6 people that want to go in on a POTP Wreck-Gar preorder? Not sure what shipping would be from RobotKingdom but figure this may be a better option than trying to hunt one down at Walgreens (especially with distribution being what it is recently) Pre-order Wreck-Gar
Brickseek says there's a few Targets with Voyagers around the Eagan area but calling ahead is useless as they don't actually go look anymore apparently. They do some checking on a computer...which probably means you have to give them an assortment name or something.
Regarding the Warbotron, it turns out that you should not just yank; you need something like a pocketknife to push in these little tabs on the combiner ports to pop the limbs free.
GTK. I remember trying that and still having to basically take apart the entire shoulder to get to the tab tho.
Eagan must be the place to be. *FOUR* cases of Wave 3 voyagers at Walmart. Grabbed two Inferno for @einhazard and I, left the other two.
Hey all, I'll be driving through Minnesota on Monday- any cool toy/collectible stores in Minneapolis (or anywhere else) that are worth hitting up? Thanks!
Eagan has Cedar Cliff Collectables, New Hope and Richfield both have Hot Comics. Depending on the route you take Cedar Cliff and Hot Comics in Richfield aren't too far off the beaten path. Eagan is located just off both Cedar Ave/77 and 35E. Richfield would be off 494 on Nicollett or take 77/Cedar and exit on 66.
