There's a rumor that Nickelodeon will snag the rights this time. It's a good assumption considering how close Hasbro is working these days with Paramount which is a part of the Viacom Group which Nick belongs to.

Offtopic, kinda. Maybe Evergreen designs can prolly if not already make they\'re own third party toys based on the series, but more for mature kids which is more complex.

That would be interesting to see. Cartoon Network has already proven that they don't care about show that aren't in-house.

"Transformers: Cyberverse is set to air on international markets in September this year, along with the toyline which will hit the shelves around the same time."

so the show is gonna come out in september, but we wont see toys at us retail until March 2019 on account of shitty distribution.

It's good that we now know when to expect to see the show itself, but something that's been bugging me is how this show was announced nearly a year ago, and we still haven't heard any word about who will be in charge of the writing. A lot of cartoon fans tend to hyperfocus on a show's art style and animation, but at the end of the day, what matters the most for shows like these is how well they're written. Case in point: how a lot of people decried Animated as "ruining their childhoods" when all we knew about it was the art style vs. how it's now lauded as one of the best Transformers shows for its character writing.

Well, the whole "ruined forever" has been a thing since beast wars and we know how that turned out so I don't think it means anything at this point (I think it was already a thing since 3rd season of g1?)

Thank you! I did not expect such extensive answer :)

I did look up some of the guys. The most experienced seem to be Dan Salarolo and Zac Atkinson. They worked for majority of RiD2015 and Rescue Bots runs respectively as writer/production assistants and script coordinators. It will be a debut in writing animated children shows for Mae Catt. And Randolph Heard and Gavin Hignight have a few episodes from their mentioned series under their belts. I hope that everything works out!

On a different note: can we expect and actual opening theme song? (Rescue Bots had one after all!) Lately theme songs seem to be a dying art :(

I couldn't agree more, it's way too soon to judge. Let's at least give it a chance.

    I hope it’s good.

I’d like to have a good Transformers show again.

RiD just didn’t quite cut it as a sequel to Prime.

11 minutes each episode? I was hoping for an actual half hour show again, not another Power of the Primes deal. I guess we’ll see, but I’m not too optimistic. o_O

It’ll be two 11 minute episodes in a half hour block.

Usually when shows work within 11 minute chunks, the storytelling seems to suffer as opposed to being in one 21 minute cohesive episode.
Unless, of course, they are writing the show with the idea that two cohesive 11 minute episodes are one regular episode, I fear we are going to be getting webisode quality (that is, not very good) shows. I doubt they are going to be done that way, or else why wouldn’t they just do one regular episode.
In short, I’m seeing warning flags that are not very reassuring. It could very well wind up being the Transformers version of Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters, or another Machinima debacle. I hope I’m wrong.
