I’m still waiting for wave 5 of the Halo Heroes to hit stores. It peeves me off to no end that you can find wave 6 on EBay for cheap but wave 5 goes for $20 odd dollars a figure! I just want Arbiter and MC at least!
Sometimes waiting pays off. Dollarama in Canada had Series 3 of the tmnt blind bags. Only had enough to get five, just need to pray for a Donnie, April and Triceraton to still be somewhere when I get more cash.
I know, its just that sometimes it feels like I have been waiting an eternity. I know and what sucks is that this is a wave I want almost every figure from too! The only exception is the Brute Bodyguard. I may pick one up out of completionism but I kinda feel that was a wasted slot, we could have gotten a Miranda or even Rtas!
Considering they were supposed to be out 2016, two years waiting for the blasted things isn't that bad. I expect Series 6 will hit in 2021.
Man 2021 might be a little optimistic considering series 5 isn't anything more then a trickle right now(most listings I've seen on ebay are out of Canada). Only sighting I've seen is a one of at a Texas supermarket for series 6.
I honestly forget if I got Series 5 at Dollarama or not, but haven't seen them since, so I can't quite recall. But, yeah, Series 6 being in 2021 may have been expecting too much of dollar store purchasers.
I got series 4 and 5 at dollarama. I also just found series 3 at one dollarama store - all the other stores I've checked (7 or 8) have series 4 or 5 only. I'm missing one fig from series 3 but I'm glad that they eventually showed up.
Maybe? Unless they have new content for the game then it's a very real possibility for now. Halo is chugging along only because of Halo Wars 2 and Multiplayer related content. There's still hope that the Heroes line continues but as far as sets go haven't heard a peep. There were two I guess biggish sets that were revealed via Amazon but no idea if those are canned or just later in the year releases. :shrug
No. According to the list from Activision-Blizzard that told us LEGO got the Overwatch license, the Mattel licenses for Destiny and CoD are still active.
Finally bought the classic TMNT series Technodrome from my Toys R Us as the price dropped to 40% off Mega Bloks/Construx this last Wednesday. I attempted to start building it last evening...four hours later and I only got a good amount of the bottom part of the thing done. It probably wouldn't take so long if the company did like LEGO and seperated each section by their bags rather than randomly stuffed the parts around all the bags. Since there was no way I could complete it last night, I had to put all the loose pieces together in a large bag for now.
Yup. According to JangBricks they patented both numbered bags and bags marked with letters. Thanks a bunch Lego. >.<
And on that note... i found Destiny items today in stock along with a wealth of TMNT items. I don't collect either but the prices were so good (@40% of regular retail) i bought some anyway. Great fodder and one Destiny figure i actually wanted for some time but refused to pay full retail for him when it was hovering around $20 per. $4 was a much better price.
