So with pics of an OS alpha bravo popping up, might that mean an OS viper and dogfight are possibly on the horizon? I mean, this OS 'red comet' powerglide had to of been one of their best selling figures, right? Anyone have any insight or inside information to confirm one way or the other?

Hopefully, an OS KO Dogfight and Viper will be coming, along with a whole list of the other legends class figures, as well.

    However, TWO things:
    1) I don't know how true it is, or if it's just a rumor, but I have HEARD that Machine Boy (who has been doing the figure line with Powerglide and company thus far...), is done, and presumably not going to be in business anymore(?), but I cannot confirm either way as yet...but MechFansToys seem to be taking the idea of upsizing legends class figures now, starting with the Sharkticon, Gnaw, (who has antennae, wrist articulation, and a more cartoon style color scheme...), but no idea about any others they may be planning.
    2) Machine Boy is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT company from Wei Jiang, who has been producing the OS KO CW figures, specifically Alpha Bravo in this case, so there's absolutely NO REASON that just because there's an OS KO Alpha Bravo, that there would ever be an OS KO Dogfight or Viper...especially since these two different companies are OS-ing two different classes of figures.

Don't get me wrong, it WOULD be nice, but unfortunately, it also isn't very likely either. That being said, we can always hope that one of these groups will tackle it...although, for Dogfight, I would personally prefer a repainted deluxe Airraid, with his wings flipped backwards for the Joe Conquest X-30 design of his G1 figure...but I'd be okay with the Powerglide repaint, I suppose.

Thanks for the response. I knew the companies producing the upscaled legends figures and the OS'd CW gestalts were two different ones, but I was coming at it from the perspective that either (1) the incentive of repaints in its (my speculative) strong sales combined with the fact others were producing OS'd aerialbots the legend figure was originally associated with, or (2) the co. producing the gestalt would do the entire 'gift set.' After your message and thinking about it, the Defensor was/is being piecemeal'd to us so a full set out the gate might not be likely, plus there hasn't been an outcry for their groove to be OS'd... Well, at least not the legends groove to an OS, but rather the legends groove to a limb groove (to which I say, why not OS the limb groove too).

I did not know about the rumor that the co. behind the legends OSing might be going out of business. That'd be unfortunate. The more companies producing figures, the less wait time to get figures (and/or more options for us as buyers if they decide to do the same character(s)).

I hadn't thought of a gi joe compliment to the viper repaint, but I'll look up pics/videos for the mold in your suggestion. I haven't watched gi joe in a while, but I imagine the jets they had in the early seasons of the cartoon were more like leader-1, so I'd prefer if a mold more along those lines were used, if it exists (not familiar with the various jet model names, but I guess that's something I can look up too). :)
    Cheers

Wish I had jumped on Skywarp and Thundercracker when they were easily available. Anyone have the Prime they wanna part with? They are fairly cheap on ebay but I HATE waiting on packages to arrive and would prefer to buy from someone in the US

I haven't even been able to FIND the Skywarp and Thundercracker yet, nor the others in that batch...and I've been looking all over since before they released, without success.

What are they generally listed as? I'm still seeing the 6 figures with Stascream and Optimus left and right, but none of the others like Nemesis Prime, Cliffjumper, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Warpath, Huffer/Pipes(?), Ghost Starscream, Blackjack, and whoever else... I mainly wanted the Seekers, Coneheads, and Huffer/Pipes, but I had planned to get all 10(?), especially if there was a good deal on the lot like I found with the Powerglide and company...

Any solid leads on any of those...or links to reliable sellers, by chance?

No luck here either, machine boy kinda faded away pretty quickly. They did make some pretty good figures though

They DEFINITELY did that. Especially that Powerglide, which was higher quality and held together betterthan Hasbro's official version...plus (for me anyway), they made for better versions of the G3 figures to fit in my preferred collection style, because they weren't too small and not quite deluxe either (for the most part at least)...for the mini-vehicle updates. I think they were a solid Scout class in general, but if you wanted a nice Hot Rod for your TF: Prime figures, he fits in reasonably well, in vehicle mode anyway, just like Starscream is basically a full-on deluxe in his jet mode when compared to the CW Aerialbots.

Good stuff though, but I'd really like to find those I mentioned, particularly Huffer/Pipes and Warpath, as alternatives for the mini-vehicle figures in my collection...otherwise, I'll probably have to invest in a couple more Primes for conversion...

Machine Boy as a Brand still exists they are doing Cartoon Colour DX9 Mini-dinobots for example. (if you'd rather have animation colour instead of the shiny MFT ones) They alo just released their Machine Boy Onslaught too a few weeks back.

I'm crossing my Fingers that the new Voyager Scale Legends line might consider doing Powerglide as well - as I like the option of Miniibots in bigger sizes. Especially like with Powerglide and him having a gun mode I can give to a combiner.

I'm rather surprised they never repanted Powerglide though when many of the others got repaints.

I love this little guy. Bought him for less than £5 delivered from wish (a slightly easier to deal with taobao intermediary I think) and I think he's currently my favourite figure. I'm just so impressed with him for the money. The only thing I'd change is maybe a very light matt grey repaint of the mid-grey plastic bits, but that's being picky. I've seen Richthofen and a few other 3rd party Powerglides, and honestly, for the look of him, I prefer this guy. He's pretty butch for Powerglide, but the others look kind of... blocky I guess... This chap is a lean, mean flying-around-the-place-and-stealing-the-hearts-of-human-women machine, and that's how we roll.

Still crops up on AliExpress and Wish a lot. Those are probably your best bet. People are charging way over the odds for him on eBay, so don’t bother with that.

You can get them on smartlulup store or giftlove store, on Aliexpress for a good price, I believe. I also just found the Dogfight OS/KO repaint, along with Pipes & Sunstorm versions, plus recolors & upscaled of DX9 Galvatron (as Bludgeon) and Cyclonus (in red, not sure why red, but looks kind of cool anyway), and green Warpath...(I dunno).

Anyway, they're there, and they are worth getting.

Those seekers have come and gone. I'm pretty sure they were some sort of limited release as opposed to part of a full wave.

what I don't get is my Machineboy Powerglide came without paint on its pelvis, clavacles, or targeting sight, wonder why.
