I meant a meta language term, for a widely used and/or popular use of language, which is incorrect. I'm SURE there is a different term, but Google is a fickle mistress; first, she gives all without much of a thought, and then denies us the information which we seek whenever we have forgotten it.

 

Then all of those mistakes must have taken dedicated concentration. The internet salutes your attention to detail.

 

If you don't mind me asking, can we all just shuttle the fuck up and Blast Off from the grammar discussion? Maybe you guys can start your own thread for complaining about syntax and misspellings instead of clogging up the KNOCK OFFS THREAD?

We're human, not robots. Sometimes conversations happen. I'm just amazed how angry and indignant you guys get, as if it's a huge problem to scroll past a post without reading it. I mean, seriously. It's like it actually physically brings you pain, or ties up hours of your day.

But more than that, even when the conversation in this thread WAS SPECIFICALLY on topic, about knock-off transformer collecting... what counted as a knock-off, what the moral definitions were, etc... a bunch of those people freaked out again, because they couldn't bear to be in a thread that wasn't 100% aimed at their particular interests, and would rather add their own snarky, disruptive comments than just shrug and move along. So yeah... less whinging all around would be nice, right?

Still, I agree - the grammar discussion is off-topic (unlike the other topic mentioned). Plus, it's silly. "I could care less" is incorrect usage. End of story. There's not even anything there to debate.  

So, by all means, let's get back to KO stuff... even if it's controversial KO stuff.

We're on the right track here with OS KOs of legends seekers, but they need to be DX9 and they need to be voyager size!  

I see there are KOs of the DX9 seekers as well, but I'm guessing they're the original legends size.

The fact that these molds have KOs is promising for eventual voyager-size KOs!

This grammatical discussion has gone on for pages and pages and pages. One or two posts is one thing but it's now to the point where this is the dominant topic in this thread and I myself am a little annoyed by it as I keep popping in here, page after page only to find that I must hunt for the discussion that I'm actually here for. I don't see any anger in Jomasters post, sarcasm and lighthearted jabs sure but not anger and aside from that, staying on topic on this board is a pretty well known rule...

I believe those DX9 KO seekers you linked to are slightly upscaled... like 20% maybe. Almost deluxe size, but not quite.

Definitely seen a lot of anger, attitude, and passive-aggression about stuff like this in the recent past. It's not Jomaster's post in isolation I'm referencing. It's more of a general behaviour trend I'm noting among users.

I don't know how you guys use forums, but it really seems like the inconvenience of needing to "hunt for" the discussion you're here for is overstated... moreover, even when some discussions ARE on-topic, people complain anyway. The nature of a forum is that not every post is going to be directed at or relevant to you. That's normal. Filtering is normal. I don't understand why people need to add noise by haranguing others.

HOWEVER, in this case, the (relatively benign, minor) discussion about grammar is off-topic and fairly redundant. I think we can move it along. If anyone's in any doubt about whether an expression is correct or not, google has them covered.

First off, THANK YOU!!!

Now, when I looked at this last night and started to respond (I got distracted and never finished), I was concvinced I was in fact looking at an OS KO on Sir Toys. But with this new picture they appear to be the same size. Now I'm a little confused. So the KO is in fact OS or not so much? Thanks.

I found them on Show.Z with dimensions listed at 9.5cm high, while the originals are listed at 10cm. I assume they're actually the same size.

MFT is also doing them, and those are listed at 11cm, which fits with their modus operandi of slightly upscaling things.
