I can make a suggestion that will help you save a lot of money.  Just get the regular Bumblebee and leave in outside in the sun for a couple of months and you will get the same effect.  Probably save you $40.

Man is that a terrible look for Blackout. Happy with my standard retail release.

The sea camo Blackout is painted by this known customizer from China. You can find some of his sale items on Taobao.

The BB looks like a factory job seeing how it has a custom bubble. Maybe they'll reuse it for some other event or sell off unsold ones as a premium, idk.

Hey, at least it's not Grindor. Then again, Grindor actually appeared in the movie...

...I fucking hate this. Such an amazing deco, but only 88 were ever made?

Screw it. I\'ll make my own Grindor. This is just cruel.

Pretty sure you'd just get a warped toy...
This is a rare statement. :lol
Would you really want Grindor to be released this way? I wouldn't. It's probably for the better.

This release system pisses me off. If you're going to do a gold chromed variant for a lucky dip, fine. Don't do this.

I was arguing with someone yesterday, and he was saying that Grindor was a different helicopter type in the movie. Honestly? I don't care. They're so similar that nobody really cares. If the west can get this deco as maybe a Hasbro Toy Shop exclusive, it would be greatly appreciated. Doesn't matter if I don't live in America. I'd find a way to get it, just as I have with the last exclusives.

You'd be surprised how many people care. Honestly, only the front part of the helicopter (the cockpit/Blackout's chest) would really need to be remolded to be accurate to the type of helicopter that Grindor turns into. It's small enough of a change that I feel Hasbro could do that and repaint it without too much hassle. I'd still get Grindor if he was a straight repaint, though, but that little attention to detail would be a pleasant surprise.

If Hasbro does a Platinum Edition set as they did with AOE and releases that BB within the 1st movie core cast of 5, I'm down

It's going to be difficult to find photos. First off, since there are only 88 in existence, not many people are going to have them. Then, there's the firewall. Most people in China don't have access to most American sites, especially social media. Finally, many people getting these will be casuals, so factor those in someone's going to have to do some serious weibo searching...only for it to be reposted on Daimchoc and barely acknowledged.

Personally, I'd like to see the back of the box for the "Rusted Bumblebee".

Only almost 2 years later Blackout camo repaint in hand images. This person owns number 79 of 88 Camo Blackout made.

Took me a while to find this thread to post it. TransFan doesn't know about this figure, like how you mention in the previous post where only 88 are made and not everyone knows about it.

Hilarious; it actually exists after all. Colours are cool, although it looks like there's already a fair bit of paint flaking/chipping.

Would be nice if something similar was made widely available. I'm surprised at all the Studio Series molds that have never gotten repaints... in previous lines, it seemed like every mold got at least one repaint to recoup costs.
