I just want someone to knock off Tigerblade's Shockwave

 

4 different MP-36 KOs, and just one lousy MP Shockwave.... fking sux!!! And yeah, I love Tigerblade's painted version too.

 

I just noticed the foot upgrade last week. That's the Shockwave I always wanted for my collection. It does amaze me that with all the Megatron options there hasn't been an updated Shockwave.

 

Yes. Should've come with a hose. It's painted however and can chip. You may be able to pick one up separately or actually make one yourself if you're good at that sorta thing.

 

I need those hands.

 

The good news is those hands should still be readily available.
The bad news is KFC has not made another pair of hands for any other newer MP figure mold since this.

 

Hey TigerBlade,I was wondering what you did to the feet on your Shockwave. Is that something that's available on shapeways possibly? Now that Takara is releasing a Shockwave in the right color I'll be picking another one up but his feet are still to narrow.

 

So. I think this might be one of the few times I'll entertain a KO. Any word on a + version ko?

 

I'm sure it'll come eventually. I can't believe they didn't come in before Takara with all the discussion on a darker purple when the official released.

 

I can second this. I'll go for the darker purple KO if its cheaper than the 200 for the Official since I have the original already.

 

Its baffling. Not only regarding shockwave but anything really. They do have the designs/rebuild the molds/whatever. Why dont they move it to the next step before TT with repaints at least nobody knows....

 

Unless you're set on the mold wouldn't quakeblast fit the bill in terms of color? I have the original and the light purple color doesn't bother me at all but Quakeblast is a seriously badass figure

 

@TigerBlade designed a new set of slippers to fit over Shockwaves existing feet. They're available from his Shapeways store
TigerBlade's Lab by Tigerblade - Shapeways Shops Can definitely recommend them.

 

I am on the same boat, colour notwithstanding. I find it to be far superior to anything else on the market currently. Still there are those who want their Shocky to be the spitting image of the cell shade.

Some ppl think Quakeblast looks terrible. Huge shoulder pads, tiny waist and clown shoes.

Doesn't matter how well it's built if he honks his nose and he keeps getting pies in his face

Thanks for the reply! I actually contacted my eBay seller and he was able to ship me the hose. It would have driven me nuts having an incomplete figure.

 

I've gone back and repainted them so they look more screen accurate. In the cartoon his legs went to the floor whilst his foot resembled more of a front toe:



I think it flows much better with the purple now.
