Yeah, I know but the impression I got was the quality of the Zeta release is less than desirable... which makes sense when you compare its price to the original. On one hand, I'd love to own the mold but on the other, if it's an inferior version why bother?

Not bad. The back view does highkight a bit of an ugly break in the flow of the car between the door and front wheel well panels though.

 

That's part of the actual race car's design. The front fender is flared out. Normally there are vents there to release heat and dust from the brakes.

Honestly I dont keep tabs to such things, so my answer is gotta be I dont know. But, given how the copyright laws function in China, I have to say, they too are fair game.

 

Maybe getting official logos are the reason this took 3 years  

 

I find the alt mode for this iteration very pretty. Not so sure about the robot mode yet, but I'll have to see it in someone's hands to make a final judgement, especially that while I liked the prototype robot form quite a bit, I'm willing to give it a chance to defend itself. I kind of wish the rear wheel wells were closer to the ground and the shoulder span is a bit wide to me, but on the other hand, in toy-tribute robot mode it looks quite nice. Ah, we'll see. As long as I still need a MP Jazz for my shelf, I'm open to various ideas.

 

I think it already has been asked three times or so, but I might have missed the answer: Does anyone see space for the Autobot logos in there? Seems to be a very busy area.
