Opened up Trypticon on my break at work and... wow, that's a big boy. I did not appreciate. Also... Full Tilt is a bit purpler than I anticipated. He sorta looked lavender in all the promo materials, but he's full on full-body Grape Ape.

Dropped by Ollie's by Dayton Mall (around 7 pm) - Trypticon's gone. I asked about it, and was told the ones they had sold out within 2 or 3 hours of opening.

Glad I wasn't banking on getting a clearance Trypticon. It was more of a "would be nice" thing for me. I bought a box of puppy pads and marshmallow Peeps instead. (don't mix 'em up!)

 

Damn! That was fast! Most of the people there at open were buying three of them at once...

 

Head over to Reprolabels.com and get new/better stickers for Trypticon and which will have stickers for Full Tilt as will. The new stickers will break up the purple on him and make him look even better! I've trying to set money aside for the sticker set for Metroplex, Fort Max and Trypticon, but too much things happening right now to do it.

 

Huh. Well. .. Someone with a PayPal debit card want to help out a fellow board member from Minnesota who has no Ollie's near him? PP screwed me over, and I don't get paid until next Friday. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there won't be any Trypticons left by then  

 

I don't get it - there are plenty at other stores. What's the benefit to scalping them? The shipping alone has got to be high.

 

I wonder if some of these guys take the big items to toy shows to scalp.

I guess the question at this point is - are there any Studio Series ones people are still looking for?

 

Ollie's Beechmont still has 6 Trypticons left as of me leaving the store with one!

 

Ollie's in Sidney has a few Trypticons on-site. They're not out on the sales floor, but stored in a stockroom on the front left as you walk in. I saw one dude leaving with three when I arrived, I snagged one, and there were maybe 3-5 still left in the room after that. This was around 1 pm.

 

That’s crazy though. Yesterday they had at least 20 or so. I’m somewhat surprised about how quickly they are selling.

Amazon has studio series leaders back in stock at retail with prime shipping if anyone still is looking for them. Just snagged Grimmy.

 

Bought a Trypticon for myself and my son at the Ollies in Lancaster tonight around 7:30 pm. Had to ask for them up front (which is where they pulled them from). I'm not sure if they have any more or not though.

 

Niles Target got another case of the Studio Series leaders and voyagers as of yesterday evening.

 

For those interested, POTP leaders Optimus and Rodimus Primes are back at Meijer in Kettering. along with Voyager and Deluxe Studio Series wave 1

 

Just left Dayton Mall Target and they have 1 of each of SS LC blackout and Grimmy. Nothing else....
