I hear Yeary Uh and when I put my phone closer to my ear I hear both simultaneously. Laurel in a deeply pitched voice and yanni in a high pitched voice. That means everyone is right.
was listening to a podcast that played the clip didn't know WTF this was about until after that. heard "Yanny" just listed to the clip posted here and it was "Laurel"
When I heard it on radio news this morning I heard Laurel. But hearing it in the YouTube clip here I hear Yanny. So odd.
First it was yanny, then laurel, then now i can literally choose what i want to hear , and hear both at the same time. Crazy government experiment or something lol.
I very clearly hear both. It's quite obviously meant to be able to be interpreted as either depending on whether you can hear high frequencies. Just another pointless thing meant to get attention and cause debate. In short...
Same. I heard yanny at first then I started hearing laurel. Weird. I'm still mostly hearing yanny, though.
I hear yammy. No L's, no N's. Extremly clear "EE" sound at the end. Listened to it about 10 times, peoples brains must distinguish frequencies differently than others. Ive been playing drums for 20 years so i already know i cant hear a lot of frequencies. Older people or def people cant hear higher frequencies. Ita like colors, certain colors or different to some people than others. Not everyone sees orange the same for example.
I hear Yuri or Laurel depending on how I hear it (phone, speakers, headphones, etc.) I even hear Gary sometimes, but never Yonni.
