I miss my Tempesta. Thing is, mine just had no tight joints or good connections. Even after floor polish bits just randomly fell off. And I got her new. All the MMS 3rds were kinda like that for me. Lavina has held up okay over the years, but now even she is starting to have joint fatigue, and just isnt as fun as my Mrk 1s.. weird huh? The new Koto girls however pose like a champ, and stay that way..

Either or. Probably a Mk. 2 Full Package, doesn't matter about the colors (though I have Strarf Lavina Full Package so getting Dark Angel Arnval Mk. II would be nice)

Yeah I was so concerned when i found out my Partio had a super floppy torso. I'm glad it was just a quick realignment of pegs to fix. Its surprisingly easy to disassemble Shinki, no wonder people like to use them for custom figures.

Which reminds me, my old Howling (one of the few Shinkis that actually saw NA distribution through Konami's website) has a torso so loose she can't even stand under her own weight.

Might be the same thing. If you Google "busou shinki loose torso joint" the first link has photos that show what to do. Good luck!

I visited the Kotobukiya booth at the local anime convention, got to check out some FAGs. The Gold Gourai definitely looks like cheese in person. I brought home Off White Architect, she's a cutie. One day I'll build my kits, one day.

And Off white Architect looks awesome. I like the hair color for that color outfit.

Gold Gourai looks like a MS Girl for The O...if The O had missile banks, long rifles, and was more geometrically designed.

Honestly, I kind of want to get that Gourai. She looks the right kind of ridiculous.

Speaking of Gourai, I know this isn't technically Kotobukiya (I think), but:

Desktop Army FA:G Gourai. Got her along with some other stuff down at Tate's Comics in Lauderhill.

...Guys, I think I might be hooked on another Mecha Musume line. This figure is unspeakably cute. Also, I haven't checked yet, but I'm pretty sure she scales well enough to act as a "little sister" for the regular Gourai (or any Shinki/MD/FA:G figues) as well.

I don't have Gourai, but this just arrived:

Thoughts and pictures (with and without the Tank Baby) to come later...though, I have to admit, opening the box did not inspire confidence. =p

Hang in there boxorak! It may seem daunting to see all those pieces, but frame arms girls are about the same level of difficulty as a high grade gundam. There are lots of parts but construction is pretty straitforward.

Just be careful cutting out the smaller parts, I once spent a half hour hunting for the black part of architects headband in my carpet!
