Get the Protectobot Hotspot from the 2-pack. V similar deco, much cheaper. I've used one as my Inferno for several years.

 

Like Inferno. As stated in another post I will buy that and another set of protectobots just so I can have bigger version of a nock off I own. Novastar is cool but I wish she looked more like her form in the cartoon. That being said I’m still unimpressed with the combiners this time around except Abominus. Oh and speaking of which I finally found a Ripper Snapper at a Target in San Marcos Texas.

Behold Offensor! So that\'s it for PotP, right? Does it bother anyone else that Starscream, Elita-1, and Inferno won\'t be getting a complete set of limbs?

 

Yes.

 

It affects only the robot mode. Theres a small triangle that ends up banging against the calve interior. If you dont correct the assembly or shave the triangle enough the leg can never be properly assembled.

 

Oh yes.

Inferno is getting my Autobot spares: Jazz, Blue Bluestreak, Smokescreen (Got a Japanese Sky Reign with Ratchet) and Impactor/Wreck-Gar. Starscream and Elita-1 will both have doubled up limbs with Dreadwing & Blackwing subbing for Buster & Hydra and Moonracer & (eventually) Novastar subbing for Greenlight & Lancer.

And while we'r on spares..... For me the substitutes in the CW versions of the 1986 teams are used to form Galvatronus and the spare BW Combiner limbs from TFCC & Botcon are on Grand Scourge. I think that's everyone!

 

Oh, right. I must have gotten them mixed up. Still, if that's actually going to be the case, then Idek if I'll even bother with Inferno.

 

The whole time I heard about the red repaint, I was thinking.." Nah..no way to get me to buy THAT mold again.." and then I seen these glorious red pics.."Holy shit..thats freakin AWESOME. And the titan master on the bucket?!?!? sheeeeeit." my dumbass will buy that one again. Looks fantastic to me.

Will Novastar be able to be a an arm for Elita one combined mode?

I am having trouble finding Power of Primes items to purchase in store here in Texas. Any suggestions (and i don't want to pay $10 extra per item).

Has Hasbro fallen asleep at the wheel? Why is it we're just now getting picks of what Hasbro will be releasing here pretty soon from TAKARA who won,t be releasing this until months later? Seriously Hasbro? Do you want people to buy your stuff? Cause not talking about them certainly does that.

 

Damn, after seeing Inferno's combined form he really needs his own team either with repaints and remolds or new molds. Fixit from First Aid, Red Hot from Rook with ladder accessory, Stakeout from Prowl, and Seawatch as a completely new mold or a heavy remold of UW Blast Off.

 

I don't have any interest in purchasing Inferno, but that deco he has is really nice looking for the combined mode.

Takara always produce a more extensive set of images than Hasbro.

 

I've been waiting for Hun-Grr for months and have yet to see one. They don't seem to care if we buy their toys or not.

I have seen a total of 3 Hun-gurr figures at B&M, and Elita a whopping once. No restocking in sight.
