...ya, eyes need reworked an modded somehow.. maybe some busted up style robotic eyeballs with the light inside those lil balls via cheap/feint illumination style lil leds? As it is, with the lighting for the eyes coming from way back inside the head like it is now, which is very noticeably deep set lighting... more akin to a fire inside his head; the eyes put out a "very" heavy pumpkin lighting kind of vibe, which throws off the look of the piece somewhat.

But the mouth lighting!!! OH MY GOD!!! It is 100% FREAKING PERFECT!!!! Do not change anything about the mouth!! Well done sir!!! Well done!!!

I am def keeping an eye on this project, an tellin a few friends about it!!

You must have jumped on the band wagon early. I inquired a couple weeks ago about what the toy version looks liked since it hasn’t been shown yet, and was told no more orders were being taken at this time.

 

Yeah I jumped on right at the beginning!     

 

I opted for the unpainted version. Haven't decided what I'll do with it.

 

The replacement eye sockets are done and I just ran a lighting test. With this done, kit orders will start shipping out this week and the finished orders can proceed as well.




FYI, this is the way the eyes were always meant to look. The previous pics were stand-ins while I redid the eye sockets. You arm-chair art directors would have known this if you had actually read the posts instead of knee-jerk reacting to the pics. But just in case you're not reading this either...

My blank came in today. Are the horns identical?

 

Of course they're identical. Why wouldn't they be?

 

I ask because of the fit. The... left hand side, I think, is a little off. I noticed the slight pitch to the alignment tabs and wanted to make certain there wasn't a LH/RH orientation I wasn't aware of. Especially since a large portion of one of the round sections of the post is missing on one of the horns. Not a big deal other than the variations making me wonder if I was overlooking something.

Anyway, now that I know both horns were intended to fit to either side, I can make the modifications I need to so that a horn will fit to the port properly.

Just trying to avoid a bit of work only to find I had done something unnecessary after having overlooked an obvious detail.
