Not sure why anyone would complain about what Godzilla they would use for a promotion. They're going to use the current Godzilla obviously.

 

Normally I'd be excited for a new Godzilla movie, but since the previous entry was less than stellar I'm not looking forward to this one.

Also MG "Diamond-saur" looks terrible.

 

I liked the first one well enough, but it had issues. Hope this middle chapter is a less plodding than its predecessor.

 

Wow that looks bad. The animation is still just as lifeless and dull as before, except those mechs look like shit and Godzilla fires a laser out of his nose?

Man I hope we get a KOTM trailer soon.

 

I've yet to decide if I'm even going to bother watching the other two.

 

After the Showa series ended in 1975, it didn't take too long for an American studio to bring Godzilla to the small screen with an animated series. However, this series took massive liberties with the source material by making Godzilla a servant to man and added in a child friendly monster named Godzooky into the mix. Were the weekly episodes featuring Godzilla and the crew of the Calico a grand adventure or should Godzilla have stayed in the waters of Japan? Watch to find out.

It's kind of sad that the best Godzilla cartoon is the one that stared Gino.

 

Zilla Jr redeemed his predecessor, imo. The Animated Series really was damn good.

 

Quite ironic.

The franchises best animated entry came out of one of the franchises biggest jokes.

 

Guess someone forgot or didn't hear about Godzilla Island

 

Forgot about and never bothered to look further into.

That show always seemed to packed to the brim with monsters.

 

And this is the most articulated Godzilla ever. Just look at him go! I don't think any of the Showa suits were this flexible!

The same franchise that had titles such as "Earth's Greatest Battle", "Earth Attack Command", "Great Battle at the Southern Seas", "Monster Island's Decisive Battle", "Attack of the Marching Monsters", and of course: "Giant Monsters All Out Attack".

 

Those are the lamest posters ever.

This anime is so up its own ass.

You'll die of alcohol poisoning before it's over, but even that is still more fun than watching this train-wreck.
You know what shows need to stop doing that take reference from a pre-existing franchise? Stop showing all the cool shit in the FUCKING PROLOGUE. You mean to tell me every God damn monster trademarked by Toho show up, and every single one of them are now dead because Godzilla was the last one to show up and he demolishes every single one he comes across.
What a fucking waste for what is honestly a really awesome idea. This dumpster-fire is marketed as "Monster Planet" yet there's one monster. his offspring that's like 1/100th his size, and a bunch of generic flying dragon things.
