Those things in the second pic look kinda like the creatures from way back in Spotlight Hot Rod guarding The Magnificence. Weren’t they mentioned recently as well?

Unnecessary emotional spiel mode engaged...

Looking at cover-b got me thinking: when MTMTE first began, which still only feels like a few short years ago, I didn’t know who most of these characters were, and wouldn’t have given a flying cyber-monkey’s waste extractor what happened to them. I mean honestly, who really cared about Swerve or Tailgate in the slightest back then? Heck, who even cared about Drift in the slightest? Now I know them all so well that even the thought of any of them dying feels like a little piece of my souls is being torn away.

Well done Roberts for creating such a diverse and interesting cast of characters, each of whom I genuinely sympathise with. Also, Anode is there.

Any chance Milne will post a clean version on his Twitter? Definitely gonna use this as a wallpaper.

 

The only two who seem to be espousing a posture of 'bring it on" are Grimlock and Cyclonus...which is actually fitting...

 

I agree, but it’s hard to say whether Whirl is simply astonished, @Shackwave71, or if he’s saying,

“You’re huge. That means you must have huge guts. Rip and Tear!”​

 

That’s some absolutely amazing work by Milne!! The expressions and details are truly fantastic. Gets me excited for the story.

Now is that just because of the epic crossover nature of the story, or is the enormous body count going to carry over too? Knowing Roberts, I think I already know the answer to that question.

You got 12 years of his standard red yellow and orange in IDW and 30 years of being those colors. I’m sure sure you manage another 4 months before the reboot

And it’s not overdue because the entire reason for those colors is Getaway and they haven’t met up yet

Oh well, LOVE the first cover. Great expressions, and great to see all the (living) members of Team Rodimus together with all the (living) members of the Scavengers.  

 

comiXology uses the last Wednesday of the solicited release month as a placeholder date for an issue. You can only be certain it's actually coming out that day once it gets within four (?) weeks of it.

(So we do know at this point that OP #19 and Wreckers are actually scheduled for the 30th.)

Since they now know LL isn't out in the 30th, it's been given the last Wednesday of June as a new placeholder.
